Tremendous content. Trade catalogues are the best. Would love to see a vintage Britain’s Soldiers one.

Ahh! So bummed out that I missed this "Vintage Obsession" Palitoy live-stream! Such great stuff discussed in this one! But, I did watch it all the way through as soon as I got home. I promise not to miss the next one!

Been watching you for years, how is it that you don't have 50k subscribers yet? That's a travesty.

I was born in 75 and my brother in 71, we had a few bits from the Action Man dress up play uniforms including a white play tent that had Action man on the side of it.

Great idea for a stream; by all means it should be a regular feature. Myself, I'd love to see the first year that Palitoy had Star Wars. I assume it was 1978. Sorry to be late again, but I never manage to catch anyone live unless I'm driving and can't join the chat anyway. I've wanted to support you and Michael and Dave for a while and hopefully will make it happen soon. Enjoy your special holiday and make the most of your time together. We renewed our vows for our tenth anniversary with our parents and our son on Myrtle Beach. My dad and her stepdad, who performed the ceremony both times, are no longer with us, so the memories are really special. Take care and stay safe.

As someone from the USA, I appreciate palitoy artwork every time over the same toys released over here. Mego, gi joe/ action man. In fact I recently treated myself to a palitoy bulletman that I imported. It only makes sense, he actually has the boots with the jet packs so he can actually fly! Unfortunately I had to settle for a repro box but it’s still the original artwork. Please keep doing these videos.

For somebody who was born in 1967, this was a very enjoyable and nostalgic video. Thank you.

Absolutely fascinating. I got one of those Striker sets for Christmas one year. It was an incredibly frustrating experience! I loved that pacemaker on Atomic Man, but I remember he was played with more with Steve Austin than my Action Man toys. Would love to see 1978 next please!

Thanks for sharing this catalog. I havent considered how important these books were until I started following Analog Toys. Having you share your knowledge of the toys beyond a basic commentary relating to the photo makes it compelling viewing. Oh, and 1972 models are still the best 😉, but I say go back to the earliest you have and start the series from that...

As a new innocent novice I remember looking thru these catalogues and thinking to myself " what the hell have I got myself into !??". Great feature, as usual. Every catalogue year was a good year. Don't forget the Mainline ones or Bill Pugh will be spinning in his hallowed grave!!!

I had a bunch of Mego figures growing up. I think the Spiderman figure had two left hands, instead of a left and right hand. (Guess one slipped past their quality control! Or maybe they ran out of right hands one day.)

No kid should have every accessory, they'd be spoilt and lose that feeling of appreciation and imagination having to make their own accessory out of cardboard boxes and dad's old hanky which made a good parachute!😁
