So deeply felt the monologue on finding clothes, I also feel like when I do find something in my size, style, and budget they sell out sooooo fast, which sucks because it takes me a while to commit to ordering something. I feel like I just don't even want to give money to these brands anymore so I'm learning to sew my own clothes this year, because I don't like feeling like I need to settle and feel bad about myself.

Girl I feel you SOOO MUCH about the nice dress hunt. I'm one size larger than you and trying to find a cocktail/party dress that makes me feel sexy and not matronly is IMPOSSIBLEEEEEE 😭 I wanted to get something nice for my 30th birthday dinner and ended up settling for Target brand. Then a few months later I wanted something for my 5th anniversary weekend with my partner and settled on something last minute from the Kohl's clearance rack. We deserve better than this!!

I have been dyeing and cutting my own hair at home for a few years and I use the wella brand and I am way happier than when Inget it done professionaly. When I get it done by a stylist, it's almost never what I want and ots so exspensive. Your hair looks lovely! You should always do it yourself from now on if you are going for a brown.

okay, drag me for this but have you checked shein? plus size girls deserve to look hot and dress how they want and shein serves that tbfh and straight sized ppl love to drag shein meanwhile buying off temu and amazon...I just searched shein and found some dresses that sound like what you're looking for without giving milkmaid, yes their fabric can suck sometimes but I've gotten some bangers it's just a matter of reading the reviews, specifying material in the search/filter, and they do take returns on most things (just double check the description). I hope you find something that makes you happy wherever it's from! you deserve to feel your best on your happiest days. 💖
