Judging from the OEM GT rear bumber, lack of chin spoiler, and GT side skirts - looks like the car may have originally been a 99-04 GT. Not sure why anyone would take off the cobra skirts and rear bumper and replace them with GT hardware but that's just my guess.

I think he put the GT bumper on to not put a hole in the Terminator bumper for the chute. It’s got the painted mirrors which is usually a sign of a Terminator

@@Cl8tonn I will be doing a big bore n/a build that can rev anywhere from 7800-8500rpm and hoping to hit as close to 500whp as possible,but right now I’m just trying to do a lot of research first before buying parts,but I am 100% dedicated to this build,I will not be changing plans for a different route to get the horsepower I am aiming for

@@petrolhead8851 I've got a 97 Cobra. I like your idea there. I love the way it drives and handles stock. I'm alot more na inclined than boost myself. You'll build mph at a crazy rate making HP to that high in the shift point

@@Cl8tonn thank you. These motors can make horsepower in n/a form but they do cost an arm and a leg if you want big n/a power! For a fully built,ported and polished head is around 3500$ and if you want the best parts you can get, the cost can be as high as $6k. Just to sleeve and do a big bore teksid bottom end can be around 3k..but to be honest it’s worth it because you’ll have a reliable naturally aspirated high horsepower 4v motor that will last you forever compared to a boosted set up! I already bought a Mach 1 upper and lower intake,and some 01 cobra heads. What’s done to your 97 cobra? And you’re right! They do drive really good in stock form,they glide through the gears so smooth

I was about to say don't waste your time like my friend did but he was even worse with an sohc 4.6. My Yukon Denali put buses on him and he even had comp cams and ported heads, but your setup will be bad ass if you have an 8k rpm screamer.

Nice car but if it is a true cobra, I would of left the original design 03/04 cobra and just convert to an auto and Whipple 3.0 Gen 5 with all supporting mods. Would be just as fast or maybe faster. Still though is white car had great numbers.
