That looks great. I like the look of that SS barrel shining through the Handguard. I just built a 18" 6.5 Grendel for my son. 18" is a nice length I think. I'm surprised it wouldn't higher than that. I usually sight dead on at 50 yards. 25yds always leaves me about 4-6" high at 100yd.

You know when was the last time a cop looked at you weapons for compliance after he or she pulled anyone over? I never saw a cop pull a tape measure out and measure anyones gun or check the trigger or hang out at a gun range just to listen for fast reports.When you think about it regular police are not trained to know what is legal and what is not, only cops that are gunnuts know.Yea this video had nothing to do of what I said but for some reason it reminded me of cops and being pulled over.

No sir. I've always used a carbine with a rifle length gas system. On my 20" as well
@Fister_of_Muppets
@Fister_of_Muppets 3 жыл бұрын
I own this same rifle... it has a rifle-length gas system, so the recoil impulse per shot is dulled down a bit. Using the included standard buffer assembly pretty much lands right in the middle for reliability between ammo weights with no real worries.

*IF you handload 5.56/223, {or any larger 22 centerfire}, I suggest trying the inexpensive SPEER 70 grain SP "round nose bullet" hand loaded to near maximum with Varget or VihtaVuori powder. That bullet should perform well at moderate ranges from 1:9 or faster AR barrels. Some bolt action shooters even like that bullet for accuracy and terminal performance on small deer with **1:12** twist longer barrel 22 centerfire bolt action rifles. The long bearing surface and forward ogive allow this heavier bullet to perform "off the charts" with regard to accuracy vs twist rate... and the weight forward design allows more powder room in the case at same overall length. So, it can be pushed faster than other 70, 69 or 68 grain bullets 'at same pressures'. Ballistic Coefficient or 'BC' is .214.*
