Another great vid. I like the abrupt cuts. I think it gives this series it's character vibe.

Hey brother. I enjoy watching your videos. A couple things, what year is your V-Strom ? And hey work in the Fade outs on your videos instead abruptly cutting to the next shot. 😉

Thanks for watching. I use freeware software for all my editing and do realize I cut some corners here and there on edits. This software I use makes fades cumbersome (you'll see plenty of examples where I do use them) and when I start feeling rushed to meet my Friday deadline I make some compromises. My apologies for that, but at the end of the day I put a huge amount of time into these and it pays pennies. I'm ok with a less-than-perfect product if it helps me spend more time with my family and productive work.

Does your strom burn any oil ? I’m keen on this Ester technology ( stengthened long chain molecules which resist shearing) gd for slowing down oil degradation and gearbox protection I’m assuming your rotella doesn’t have this ?? Is it rated for what the manufacturer recomends Any way it would be hard to make a comparison with the same size strom and types of riding etc and the oil I’m referring to compared to what u do I think there r a number of peeps that do as u do a guy in the uk had over 161000 kms on his gsxr1000 basically using cheap Oil and frequent changes and the engine was running very well but he did use the bike for couriering work so it was hot a lot of the time which works in the engines favour I swapped from mineral oil to semisynth motul and the change to the engine was amazing! It too had the ester technology So I’m rather sold on the product price aside 😂gd series thanku

Thanks for watching! My buddy once said he could smell oil in my exhaust when I accelerated hard to pass vehicles. He observed this while following me. Take from that what you will, but I haven't ever needed to add oil between changes. Also, I've done some internal engine examination just before I went on this trip and the numbers told a good story about compression and valve tappet wear. I may have had the same results using another oil exclusively, difficult to know. I just chose this path and stuck with it as a bit of a control.
