It's not even just Palword, though, this has just been an extreme amount of backlash for that game in general. Anything Austin covered on his main channel that wasn't Pokemon or Zelda underperforms, and I guess it just makes sense to make a second channel for all of that.

Ultimately I do hope this second channel can get at least as big as the main channel cause Austin's guides are typically rock solid and full of genuinely awesome info for whatever game he's getting into. Him and teachers game too are my go to's so it's been awesome to see both creators covering palworld and enjoying the hell out if it as well.

It's due to the youtube algorithm. Every person youtube shows the video to, who doesn't click on it, will hurt your channel. That means that mixing one channel with two different audiences doesn't work. Imagine you have one channel with two series, which each appeal to completely different demographics. KZbin will show both series to both demographics, even the people who don't care for that series. KZbin will then derank both videos for not appealing to your whole channel's demographic, which makes both videos perform much worse than they would have on their own.

This just makes the grappling gun better. I was constantly overweight due to ingots and charcoal on my mountain base and getting stuck on walls and trees while grappling. Then have to drop the items get down then repick them up if they dont fall through the floor. I lost a few stacks of 8k stone and 3k charcoal that way a few times.

This isn't to excuse Game Freak one bit, but it's a difference in business models. Scarlet/Violet is just one small aspect of a massive entertainment empire, and they've stretched themselves far too thin. They have toys, shows, movies, merchandise, etc. and a yearly game release that they just don't prioritize enough to manage before pumping out the next one. Meanwhile, Palworld is a brand new indie title from a small developer that was only released in Early Access to the public because they ran out of money. Well, they suddenly came into massive success and only really have this one main project to work on with a few other games they've had for a while. So it's understandable they wouldn't want to abandon their golden goose so soon. Of course, The Pokemon Company has infinite money. They really just need better management.

honestly that intro is a 10 out of 10 banger, I genuinely hope you just keep that, it is very funny that both games got a video from you talking about the update patch notes and Scarlet and Violet got like two things fixed and this game got so many bugs fixed, I hope that eventually they make it to where if you manually assign a pal to anything that they will stop going to other things once they get food

Also to your question, the numbers at the bottom of the Technology tree were not yellow before, they used to be a slightly lighter tone of the color bar, so they used to be light blue and light purple. I honestly love the yellow its a great change

I'm so glad they're actually tackling real issues and fixing them. If they can also fix the issue on dedicated servers where Pals get hurt/go crazy when you're offline and change it so Pals only mine stone pits after mining all other ores/etc in base I'd be thrilled.

Its more because nobody is near the base to render them, so they get stuck in a state of limbo and the hunger and SAN bar continue to deplete. I recommend undeploying them before you log out everytime you do

Something to note: Before this patch, the button to throw pals to manually assign them was tied to "partner skill", so it made rebinding that key rather awkward(I had the key rebinded since I started playing palworld, so It ended up with me having no idea how to properly manually assign pals). I'm so happy it was changed to be V for both Lifting and Throwing them.

Has anyone else had this bug? On the hosted server my pals are having ai issues when I'm gone. It's like sleep paralysis, when I log in they are all stacked on eachother by the pal box starving and depressed, then when I'm there they filter out as normal. It didn't happen to my friend but happened to both of my bases so idk what's going on and hope it's fixed. I'm usually able to avoid stuff like this especially related to building but can't figure this one out

1. walking overweight is still slow af but now you can at least adjust where you are standing after grappling (unless they changed that you cant grapple anymore when overweight which would make the item 99% useless) 2. and the change to the pick up button is SO GOOD

I think the weight thing was so you could still use the grappling gun but also reposition yourself if you're caught on something or say accidentally pick up 9,999 stone because your anubis dropped it right next to a bench/assembly line and then you're stuck inside a pal and can't use your grappling gun until they move or go to their bed to sleep.

From my experience. Pals do still somehow get in top of things and stop working. I have a base with a few of the shipping containers, and some of my Pals like to sit on top of it and do nothing anynore afterwards. But yeah, it does seem like the game checks more at random or something because sometimes you can see your Pals just teleporting back to the Palbox and go on their merry way again after

5:41 THANK FREYA, THEY FIXED THE RELAXASAURUS RAID GLITCH! Combined with Fire spread speed, I HAD to turn off raids because this was making the game impossible to enjoy because fire just eats at wood infinitely and destroyed everything. It was also sending Lovanders way over my level too.

People were placing armor in the head slot or glider spot so that they could have both hot and cold weather gear equipped at the same time. If you replaced the glider you could still sort of glide but you would be T-posing

Did you know if your palbox is full and you captured a pal it will drop it on the ground. And if you dont pick it up and leave there will be a death beam on it so you can find it again. Or if your too lazy to get it you can buy it from the black pal merchants, pals that you left on the ground can be bought from him.

Can confirm that if you leave 2 pals breeding for an egg, they will make another egg even if it says, "not enough cake". Idk if this is a glitch, but I've been breeding 2 Beakon on xbox for good passives and they just keep going at it. Also noticed I can no longer craft ultra spheres on the sphere assembly line lvl. 1 Edit: The pals left in breeding area will breed, but wont produce an egg until ypu put a cake in the box. You can still kill 2 birds with 1 stone by having them breed while you cook the cake and it'll instantly produce an egg when you put the cake in

Great to see some glaring issues being fixed, but I'm still really hoping they comment on/fix the entirety of Pal pathing issues sooner rather than later. What's the point of even having base building if pals can barely walk up a slope let alone use doors or navigate second floor interiors?

I think what they should do is make it where you can select the work suitability to manually assign it because picking up to manually assign pals is annoying especially trying to pick them up as they run away very fast for breeding. they should add a button to assign to breeding under the work suitability since throwing huge pals can make them sometimes not be assigned to breeding/ranch the “patch” did not fix this issue same with pals getting stuck still. I’m on 1.4.
