PAN FRIED SIOPAO INGREDIENTS,
for the siopao dough
250 l (1 cup)warm water
3 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp dried yeast,
400g (3 1/4 cups) all-purpose flour,
2 Tbsp oil
for the filling
1 Tbsp chopped green onion,
1 tsp chopped ginger.
400 g ground pork
1 tbsp shaoxing cooking wine
-1 tbsp light soy sauce,
1 tsp dary soy sauce,
1 Tbsp oyster sauce,
1/2 tsp five- spice,
2 Tbsp sesame oil,
1 Tbsp water,
1/2 tsp salt,
1 pinch white pepper,
2 tsp potato starch or cornstarch.
1/2 cup water or (chicken broth)
