Panasonic G85 and Rode Mic

Just a test of my new camera, The Panasonic G85 and Rode mic in the windy snowy weather were having here in southern British Columbia.
Let me know what you think of the built in stabilization, I think it was actually pretty good.... the slow motion with the 60fps seems pretty good to me, and the audio, although your could hear that it was indeed windy, the mic definitely kept my voice easy to hear.

I have a G85 and a Rode Videomic like you. Do you have problem with Rode Videomic attached on the hot shoe when you want to use the viewfinder? Do you think it's worth it to buy a new Rode Videomicro since I'm already using Rode Videomic which is far superior than Videomicro?

Farith Jamli yes i know what you mean. The rode videomic sticks out a bit on the viewfinder side. I usually have to take it off to use the viewfinder... im notnsire about the micro.. i like having an amplified mic... i think the videomic pro might be the next best... i think it doesnt protrude at the back... i have a videomic me for my phone... its not amplified... its pretty much the same as the micro but no Rycote Lyre shock mount ... i can give it a go see how it sounds....

Havin'Fun thank you. The only reason I purchase Rode Videomic because it has amplifier. The difference between both mic is only 40 dollars in my country. MYR 290 and MYR 450

Farith Jamli yes i think they are very close in price in canada as well. The videomic pro however is double the price...

Thanks and Yes, I wanted to try out the 60fps but can only get that in 1080. We have similar weather still, so I might get out today and do a true 4K video with the G85 to demonstrate that the stabilization and such function the same way at the higher resolution.
