At 4:24 he mounts the main plate and the escape wheel has canted over out of the main plate and its jewel position.Should have filmed that again to get the escape wheel arbor lined up with its jewel as the watch assembler has in the next frames

Rolex production line is not much different. Even Patek's cases and parts are machine made. They just add more hand finishing and decoration, which jacks up the price 10 times. At least Panerai is offering such complications as tourbillon, minute repeater, equation of time, 10 day power reserve, perpetual calendar. The most complicated watch from Rolex is.. Sky Dweller. So annual calender/GMT. I like both brands tho.

Lemme guess, you have a Planet Ocean? Brass is very common in a movement. Panerai and Omega are both in the same class (mid-tier). They cost about the same. Panerai isn't for everyone, that's fine. Personally, I don't like chronographs...doesn't mean they are "bad."
