Years later and this vid still helped a LOT. My C Drive was almost maxed out and I didn't know why. Downloads folder should be your FIRST go-to... deleting a lot of old docs and videos from gaming I no longer needed helped me free up over 41 GBs of space, and I didn't even go through all the files in there. If I did, it would be nearly 50-60 GBs of freed up space. Don't forget to empty your recycling bin!

Now that I followed your steps, I have a lot more space available. And thank you for explaining why we delete folders (like some folders are never used or because of older data) so that we can delete them easily instead of just deleting them without warning leaving viewers with doubt.

Thank you so much! Subbed! When I first started, my Local C disk was at 3.40 GB free of 440 (laptop) I started by emptying my recycle bin, which alone brought it to 5.44 GB. After deleting the items in the %temp % my Local C is now at 143 GB free space; the first step alone! I'm just ecstatic that it's back in blue, and I'm noticing my PC is running a lot smoother now, too. Thank you!! I'm more than likely going to go in and delete other things later, but just to see it back in the blue is already SO satisfying. That was years of unnecessary stuff, vanquished! lol! It works folks, and like he said, the items in your temp folder aren't even things you actually need, so don't be afraid to do it. Your computer will thank you for it later! If you're afraid to do anything else in the video, at least do that first step, and you'll free up a lot of space. Okay, thanks again, man! I appreciate it!
