Here’s the first regular video since the big one on invisible walls. So newer channel members will get to be in their first member event. Note that if you became a member within the last week, you may have missed the cutoff date of when I started making the member event visual. Also, some people paid for a higher tier but didn’t specify a color, so I just gave their name a random color. If anyone ever wants to change their color, just leave another comment saying what color you want. Unfortunately, KZbin doesn’t make it easy to find comments from specific people, so the best way to ensure I see your comment is to make a comment (not a reply to a comment) saying what color you want and make sure the word “color” is in your comment

i already have a few ideas for this on bob-omb battlefield so this speedrun would be really fun to see king bob-omb on the summit: use that one trick where you grind on an edge to drop king bob-omb without using the b button koopa the quick: use a bowling ball clone to make sure koopa takes way longer to go to the top of the mountain floating island star: long jump from the mountain to the star 8 red coins: (idk) mario wings to the sky: goomba clones, just the 0xA strat probably behind chain chomps gate: bomb clip

I remember years ago, reading a long document outlining your decline in health that came from making videos. It was really quite sad, and, as someone who had similar issues, I really felt for you. Years and years passed, and you didn't make any commented videos; I really didn't think you'd ever come back. And then when Bismuth released his epic five-and-a-half-hour documentary detailing every single aspect of your SM64 A-button challenge, I really thought it was the finale to say goodbye to pannen. And then, 2023 came, and you came out of the ashes, resurrected like a bright, shining light into SM64 analysis videos, and, most importantly, they were commented with your voice. I'm not a huge follower, nor have I played SM64 for nearly three decades. But I will say that I have watched most of your commented videos, and I cannot understate how much I appreciate your work. I really do hope the KZbin/gaming/SM64 community support you enough to make your work rewarding; given all you have been through and how hard it's been, you deserve it all. Thank you, pannen, for having faith in yourself to continue to produce this marvellous analysis content and having faith in your fans to support you along the way! I am sure I can speak for others when I say we support you and we look forward to your content 🥳

@@TadpoleTea Could you imagine if we were able to break open future games at this level? It makes me wonder "Why aren't later games scrutinized this much?" I mean they kind of are but I guess the nature of them on new hardware either makes it trivial to read hex data for the game, or they're just too clean to really break for cool experiences and exploits enough to make a "Second quest" out of the base game. I know BoTW and ToTK are open ended, but a bit too open ended so there aren't really any restrictions except wall clips that warp you everywhere mostly (and duplication nonsense which isn't playing the game, just using action replay wihtout using action replay... least OoT speedruns don't have you dropping fake bombs to refill them for several hours so you avoid actually playing the game to get them)

@freddiejabez8 ай бұрын
How long did it take you to calculate it being 14/60 of a second
@radioJim8 ай бұрын
@@freddiejabez It wasn't difficult, actually! The video is rendered at 60 fps, which means each frame is 1/60 seconds. You can hit the . key to go forward 1 frame, and pressing it 60 times takes you forward exactly 1 second. I died just after 9:54, so I paused the video on the frame that I died. 13 frames later (13/60 seconds), LittleEndu and ProfessorGreg died on the same frame. If I had died on that frame as well, we would have been in a 3-way tie for "11th~9th" place, and we'd all be sort-of in the top 10 but not STRICTLY in the top 10. So in order to definitely be in the top 10, I'd need to survive one more frame than that, which would be 14 frames (14/60 seconds) after my actual death, and would have put me in 9th place!
