I always wondered what the hell that noise was, I always thought Vinnie was just hitting the Hi-Hat softly. Does anyone else incorporate those things underneath the snare?

+AnthonY TenkkU Vinnie had an electronic drum pad that triggered that sound, so it was a sample.

There are multiple ways to play the 'noise' obviously how Josh did, under the snare, Vinnie used an electric pad. I use a brush drum stick, which creates the same kinda sound. Just depends whats easier
