What I truly admire about Charlie Benante is how he stays incredibly faithful to Vinnie Paul's original drumming. He honors the legacy by replicating Vinnie's nuances so precisely, keeping the beats and tone spot on, to the point where you can close your eyes and feel like you're hearing the original. It’s clear that Charlie has immense respect for the music and wants the fans to experience it just as they remember. His dedication and attention to detail are unmatched!

Phil is a great vocalist but is a plain bad dude that said terrible things about the brothers that played a part in the tragedy that ensued, and is using their creation to make money after their death. @@profile5 I was never against the idea. I loved Pantera from the first time I heard them (just like you probably). Dime is my favorite guitar player. There was an energy and a youthful playfulness that isn’t there anymore. No one will ever replace the Abbot’s. Ever. But you would never have Pantera without Rex and Phil. Never. Damageplan was awesome but it wasn’t Pantera. We all know it. Phil is someone who’s had a lot of issues in his life. I’m sure he’s haunted by a lot of regrets. But he moved on. And so should we. The fact you’re saying that Charlie and Zakk are stepping on graves IS the reason why I said this is no easy gig for them. But unlike you and me, they actually knew the Brothers. They were actually friends. Real friends. But at the end of the day these are just our humble opinions. My initial comment was a compliment to Charlie’s rendition of 5 minutes alone. He played it to perfection. If you’re a musician you know that is respect.
