Stars and Stripes works AWESOME on wheels and tires. Yes, it's exciting to see how quickly you can foam-foam-rinse, but if you take a bit more time and foam into the wheels and fenders, you get the same results as you do with the paint. I am impressed every time that I use this system on wheels that have been neglected. It's cool to see stained and darkened alloys come back to life, shining bright with clean tires. Another note... if you get to the results that Pan showed, using a drying aid / quick detailer is definitely a safe way to get that final 5%. Yes, it's a bit risky, but taking an extra couple of minutes to foam-foam-rinse every surface completely, then following up with Ceramic Gloss or Amplify or Awesome Sauce with your drying towel gets it to 100%.
@ChemX5 ай бұрын
That's great input Jason yeah I like to use the Awesome Sauce SiO2 for that last 5% it is definitely a great solution to get all the way there. I think you might have a good point on the dwell time for wheels, I generally also get right to rinsing myself but I bet that could help

I came across their website a few weeks ago and still have the tab open on this pc for further research. As with anything I like to research it well. Lo and behold this popped up in my KZbin. I have a one year old Chevrolet trailboss that’s my daily driver here in Maine. It is quite a bit to wash and dry once a week. It’s a big truck. Your video just answered all my questions and the results spoke for themselves. Not only is this a time saver even more important to me it’s touch-less so I won’t be introducing scratches however so minimal. I think this once a week and then a more in-depth once a month or so may be a good regimen for me. Thanks so much. I gotta try it.

I'd love to see more content on washing methods for people that have to do high volume or bigger vehicles like trucks, trailers and things like that that take a ton time.

Great video Pan! Im just a bit confused with the nozzle attachment. I was expecting both the foam cannons to fire at the same time. Instead it still just fires one at a time. Couldn’t you just swap out each cannon like normal and cut the extra weight and bulk?
@PanTheOrganizer5 ай бұрын
You certainly could just swap foam cannons. It’s just a cool things to have the splitter if you are doing big rigs and RVs (which is Bob’s normal business) as you don’t waste any time going all the way back to your work bench to get the other foam cannon. Thanks for watching!

Hey Pan. I'm a big fan of your videos. I would love to see you do a blind product test. You could do a blind test of tire cleaners - for instance - using 4 different products one for each tire. Have someone put the 4 products in opaque bottles so that you can't see what is inside, have them/you apply them and then you judge the results. It is natural to be biased to your favorite products so this test would be interesting to see how a new product stands up against what you currently prefer. I think it would be exciting to see the test results. Another great video BTW!

Great review and looks like a solid product as you stated I trust Eddie’s opinion. My only thing would be at 4:1 if my math is correct we are close to $5 a wash if you buy a gallon of each. So maybe not something I would use every time, but when I just need a quick foam and rinse. For me 10% dirty is still dirty so I would contact wash just out of my OCD. Properly coated and maintained you probably will get even higher than 90% clean. Also, if you already have multiple foam cannons is there an easy calculation of product based on our foam cannons dilution output? I would say for sure if you dry with a towel after going Touchless you for sure need a lubricating drying aide.
@ChemX5 ай бұрын
When I do this on a car myself I use about 1/4 of a foam cannon, at 4:1 into the cannons you would get about 80 washes out of a gallon each at roughly $1.25 per wash. However 4:1 is just a starting point and something aimed at handling much dirtier vehicles, I think Pan could have gotten similar results at 8:1 which would cut cost further to about $.70. I think a drying towel along with a spray detailer at the end is helpful as well and def takes it much further to do some touch ups at the same time as drying the vehicle

I Love it! This system is simply Amazing. I've been using this for roughly 3 years now. I get a lot of people that push back on this claiming you cannot get a panel clean without touching it. Well, maybe not. I add this for thought though! If you can get 95-97% clean without touching it, nothing will be any better. All the TOUCH washes gather all that dirt in your mitt, which risks scratching no matter WHAT YOU USE. anytime you touch paint, it scratches, plain & simple. Anyway, I get ZERO dirt on a towel after using S/S. I do the simple wipe test with a white microfiber... wait until you get the guy that tells you, you don't know how to wash a car bc u rinse bottom up😂... it's coming... I REALLY like the PIR of Bilt Hamber products. That way, you know you're getting the proper % of solution on the paint. 4:1 or 10:1 for any pressure washer can very the % of actual solution big time as each PW has different GPM and PSI.

You should do a brand review of Chem-X
@benjocaz455 ай бұрын
These guys have a KZbin channel where they detail big rigs @chem-x , they got some really cool stuff. Found them a couple months ago and I’m on my third set of gallons. I get 8-10 truck washes out of it, for my crew cab long bed f-450 for reference. I ended up buying the silencer kit and mounted it all to my big pressure washer, it’s awesome. I found the most tedious/time consuming part to be filling the foam cannons, I gotta fill em twice if I have a trailer I’m washing too. The inline injector kit makes it as easy as flipping a switch.
@ChemX5 ай бұрын
Nice I'm glad to hear they are working good for you! The Silencer Foamer is a huge shortcut for your situation and pretty nice to eliminate refills and measuring the soaps entirely
@Pittsburgh-4125 ай бұрын
Awesome stuff. The only problem for me is the amount of product needed. 4 to 1 is a lot am I right?
@ChemX5 ай бұрын
You could stretch it further, the 4:1 is a starting point and generally the vehicles my customers are washing are much much dirtier lol. The right ratio is the one that gets you the results your looking for in your situation while diluting it as far as possible
@Pittsburgh-4125 ай бұрын
@ChemX I am impressed to say the least. I've never seen any product clean this well without bucket and sponge lol. Well done sir
@v8tergt6535 ай бұрын
Its worth noting that on the wheels you passed the water streams from the front, the issue is you need to hit it with more pressure and at a direct angle and it’ll work better.
@ChemX5 ай бұрын
You do have to get in pretty close on the wheels with the high psi, but I think my Heavy Duty wash at 10:1 makes the wheels come out much better, I like to presoak with that right before foaming on Stars+Stripes to get them good
@v8tergt6535 ай бұрын
@@ChemX Good point!! Heavy duty concentrated even takes off grease from a backhoe which I can powerwash with cold water with a active 2.0 at 1100psi 🤯

the job was awesome I think the reason you have some dirt on the wheel is that you didn't thoroughly spray the wheel and the wheel barrow well .i give the test a 90℅ well done pan

In my experience it has no bad effects on SiO2 and SiC coatings even with frequent use over long periods of time
@PanTheOrganizer5 ай бұрын
I spoke about it in the video ;) but no according to Bob it should be ok with most coatings.
@deanwinchester1195 ай бұрын
Thats amazing results. Basically now just scrub the wheels good then spray car down with that. Sux it kills carnuba wax for guys that live to use Griots 3 n 1 spray wax. But the time saved not having to wash it saves time for putting a freah coat back on. Not bad at all!!

Hey Pan, I recently have been seeing a move towards industrial content by influencers. As a new detailer I am wondering if you were going to continue reviewing products like Chem-X or the industrial ceramic coating C6 is coming out with as they focus on semi-trucks and I know many other viewers would agree that your opinion would be valuable!
@PanTheOrganizer5 ай бұрын
It depends on what viewers want. My audience isn’t geared towards the industrial side. That’s perhaps way to niche for this channel. Perhaps a channel that focuses more on agricultural or industrial stuff would be more appropriate.
@pabloaranda63465 ай бұрын
@@PanTheOrganizer Pan first thanks for the reply. Second, have you heard of Evan Stegar? If not check his videos out as I would love some of your input especially on metal polishing if you haven’t already reviewed any products or made a video on that. It might be something you’ll notice doesn’t have many creators or videos on.

I'm wondering how well this methodology (of double foaming and close double rinsing) would work with 2-pH soap systems from other companies like CARPRO (with Descale & Lift), Koch Chemie (Rs & Af), or even Bilt Hamber if they also have a 2-pH system? 🤔
