I watch this video every few months because it's THAT inspiring. I have a DeWalt similar to this one and love it. I remember watching New Yankee Workshop early in its existence. Norm did an episode on Table saws and what you need depending on what you were going to do. As he progressed through the different saws and got to the most expensive one he said "With this saw you can really start to make some fine furniture" or something along those lines. I hope he's since seen this video.

If anything could be beyond awesome for table saw attachments, this would be it. I especially liked the super long extended arm for the cross-sled fence. What came to mind was at the end of the extended fence attachment, place a small piece of table material underneath to prevent tipping of the work piece. Love the video... liked and subscribed.

Great project and video! There are so many interesting details. Having a slot for the removable inserts to slide out through the back fence for example. Your method for shortening bolts is so simple yet effective - just screw it through a board and cut off the excess nice and square. I really like the way your fences attach to the edge of the base, kind of like a big rabbet. The only catch is that you have to have a way to cut a perfect 90 degree angle in advance so that the fence is perfectly square.

That is one hell of a nice sled!!! I made one similar but not as well made or thought out as yours but may have to make another one off your plans. One thing my sled has is a guard for the blade in the back. It is just a box covering the blade upon exit but I installed a vacuum port that doubles as a dust collector. It doesn't catch all of the dust but it does catch a noticeable amount, plus keeps my hands away from the blade.

Impeccable. You do impeccable work. I got an idea watching this build. The adjustable, zero clearance inserts could be cut with a slight angle on the outside edges, with an opposing angle cut on the mating edge of the rabbet in which they fit in. So, the user would slide them forward or backward to loosen or tighten to the blade. The screw slots would need to be in line with the direction of travel, of course. This is the FIRST time I have ever seen an opportunity for a design tweak with one of your builds, as yours are quite thorough. Now, maybe you considered this design and found a reason why it would not be beneficial. It is only an idea at this point, and not proven to work. Thanks for letting us into your shop for another fabulous build! Yours are to be aspired to, for sure. Cheers!
