I really don't get why people are taking these dumbass fights seriously. Boxing association does not credit these fights. They're just exhibitions and the way Dan is acted during the match is a perfect example of this. Logan is the only one taking these fights seriously. Dood's got a huge God complex and these shows, these promotions, are just a way for him to feed this need to "bE a FiGhTeR" without having to actually fight or face anyone who will beat him. One of the biggest reasons MMA started getting so huge in the 90s and early 2000s was because boxing has been stuffed with bloated egos, big names (who ask big paychecks) and general clutter for decades. Real top tier boxing has pretty much become inaccessible for the common man, especially without insider connections. Sure, MMA has also started to show the same issues since it's peak (looking at you McGregor, you uncouth bonobo) but each year does actually see a few nobody newcomers make their debut and fight some great matches.
