I have a quick question!! Could we use regular paper and hotglue or would it be better to use cardstock and tape? Doubt youll see this but its worth it to try and ask this. Forgot to say congrats on 40k!

It’s better to use cardstock! I don’t know about hot glue though because I’ve never tried it.

I’m not really too much help, but I have a lot of experience in making these kind of fursuits so I’ll try to answer your question- Hot glue can make the fursuit more durable by sticking the paper together with dried wax, however, whenever you use it, it will make a TON of small strings of hot glue everywhere. It creates a big mess on the paper fursuit head. Tape, on the other hand, it’s a bit less durable HOWEVER it makes less of a mess and you can also coat the head with it! It depends if you go for looks over durability or durability over looks. It would be best to use a bit of hot glue AND tape!

2:59 other option: leave some space on the 3d part to bend it and get flaps. separate the flaps so it curves enough edit: forgot to put this but tape the flaps. DO NOT glue them. (im talking about any glue. superglue, hot glue, glue in a bottle, glue sticks.) tape the flaps on.
