I remember after beating him and I was on Bowser and Kammy Koopa. The curse/spell thing I had activated and I beat Kammy Koopa in one power bounce, because it raised my attack power. Bad ass.

Respond to this video... Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door was a terrific game. I beat it in 18 and a half hours in a speed run and believe it or not, I feel like I could do it again. Characters, Places, Music, Bosses, Script, Humour, everything! Pure genius and deserves a remake or more respect from the younger generation of gamer!

Campbell: It's not known who built him, but he seems to be the epitome of weapon robotics. He shows little to no emotion, and in battle, he fights ruthlessly. Snake: I truly doubt we'd want a machine like him on our side. Campbell: I see where you're getting at. His HP stands at 50, attack is 7, and his defense is 1. You're almost there, Snake.

Notice both Grodus and Count Bleck (from super Paper Mario) have a custom laugh, and both Doopliss and Mimi (also form SPM) can shape shift. Cool.

Between Shell Shield, Veil, Fiery Jinx, decent timed hits, quick change badge, etc., Grodus-Bowser-Shadow Queen didn't pose me any real problems with Mario at 10HP and 5FP. Shadow Queen was the only one remotely challenging, ended up winning just before running out of steam. Was epic!

Campbell: Leader of the Secret Society of X-Nauts, Grodus; an extraterrestrial nightmare. His advanced technological staff allows him to use a multitude of attacks, including the ability to control lightning, a flamethrower, an ice beam, and even the ability to stop time. He uses reality bending technology to make himself harder to hit, and use a reaction time amplifier to counter any attack against him. He'll dispatch Mini Yuxes to create a forcefield, and his defense is increased with each one

This is actually a more upbeat theme than when Grodus enters and takes Peach to the Palace of Shadow after chapter 6. This theme is sped up to a faster pace, which is better than the slower pace after you beat him. Slower pace is more evil, this is more boss. BUT MY ABSOLUTE, UNDENIABLE FAVORITE THEME IN THE WHOLE GAME! I used to go through the game just to listen to this. Then, after I eat him, I just listened to the music until I was content!

Fawful, for sure. Grodus looks too heavy to fight a small, fast, intelligent Beanish embodiment of fury. Plus, he has Midbus, the HUGE Peach's Castle robot, and more, while Grodus just has different-colored X-Nauts and that magic pole of his.

grodus isnt very hard but fighting bowser DIRECTLY after him is very hard. my colution is to get a ton of star points and when you beat grodus you level up

When I didn't own my own save block besides my three bros., I would - with some PM2 knowledge - use the one right before Grodus, then use either Flurrie's Gale Force or Mario's Multibounce to do the work off of the Mini Yux. The first one of two times I finally made it through, Bowser 'n Kappy Koo kill me in a few turns. At least that way I recalled the tunes! :P

@PrinceLemmyKoopaling thats what danger mario is i only had 5 hp and the shadow queen does some dmg that could instantly end me it wasn't until i realeased the Koops Shell Defense makes Dmg 0 until it breaks AND I CAN attack while i have it that i did a Danger Mario Power Bounce Combo..

To beat both him and Bowser I had to farm in Poshley Sanctum until I had ninety nine star points than make my way back to him without fighting anypony.

Most veterans of PM:RPG/TYD say to use around twenty HP and FP, lauding your BP 60+. This is one of the most accurate ways to play if you care about all the long term and special effect badges you need to equip to Mario and the others. But I still believe in higher than 30 HP and FP so that at least your US's and JJ's; especially Jelly Ultra's; will truly and resourcefully come in handy! ;D

People I good tip, is have your star points at least 75, so that after kiling Grodus you level up and get your strenght back, for the fight with bowser, thats how I survived both fights

Not unless your start points are at least 80. After beating Grodus, you'll level up and be fully healed in time for Bowser.

if u want an easy way to easily be fully healed, just fight grodus when you have at least 80 or 90 or whatever star points, then when u kill him, u level up and healed :D

According to Goombella all members of the society including Grodus and Crump are now living a peaceful life in Poshley Heights and are reformed while The Shadow Sirens are also reformed and live in Twilight Town with Vivian and Doopliss now is an amazing actor with Flurrie. Now imagine if they came back and they actually helped you out along with the Shadow Sirens and Doopliss to fight a new evil. I would like to see a new Magnus Von Grapple 3 up against a new villain and his giant machine LOL.

Okay so I love the originality/uniqueness of milking Grodus' theme morals way better than what most people did with a popular form of techno I forgot of. Nintendo split Grodus' themes into two different speeds: His normal typical theme which was still intimidating even at that speed and was encouraging because for some reason gamer's were able to realize the theme was actually taking its time, and the battle of which the theme is quickened for tension to the point any more rapidly would ruin it.

Eh, this is as crazy as I want it to go! :o After this kind of speed, it's technically called that 2x4x etc. kind of techno dubstep failures. I'm glad the Japanese were smart enough to know the right time to stop, saying an old wise fable moral unintended. There was a slower, more calmer version of this Battle theme which is, obviously by saying so in the details above, is his Normal theme, but you're supposed to call that fast speed and this FASTEST speed on Electro-thingy types of dubstep! C;
