That stool reminded me of when I was teenager, I drove a truck. My grandmother always wanted me to be the one to take her to the store because I would let her take her time and look at everything. Getting up and into my truck was sometimes an issue for her, so she built her a little stool like that one, but she painted hers white and that became an addition to my truck so that she could get in and out a little easier. Thanks for sharing, see you next time.

Very entertaining, looks a little bit like a clip from Siberia during winter ! 3:40 Please do not confuse a rifle scope with a flashlight, Renée, it never ends well. 🙃 And you made some great finds like the fishing equipment and the Allman Bros. shirt. Question, Renée: where have you been fishing back in those days, was it the Delaware River ? Just curious. Happy sorting, stay warm and healthy, and see you on the next one ! 🤝Greets from GER, U.

Although I've never been fishing I particularly liked the fishing tackle box. It was so carefully put together and organized! I laughed when you looked through a box and shouted “a lot of scrap metal in this unit” where I saw lots of useful tools and hardware, such as a safety hasp. Thank you so much for letting us open and look through boxes with you. That is so much fun! Cheers, Gabriele Berlin

Beanies are good for stuffing in Operation Christmas Child boxes, if your church or organization takes part. My local ambulance crew can only give out stuffies that don't have sewn-on parts due to insurance liability, but you can hand them out to kids yourself without worrying about it.

A little info on a small 5x5 ($60)unit I cleaned out last week. Total cleanout time.. maybe 45 min. start to finish. THAT is a BIG plus. About 10 Clothes bags...easy Load and go. 95% donated..but had quite a few " Hello Kitty " sweatshirts. Nice big (appears new ) massage table in carrying bag. Need to look it up. The girl appears to have worked at various " Herb Dispensaries " out here in CA. Various items labeled with their Brands. She had her name and picture ID on those Neck chain badge ID's. Seems these Salespeople of these PRODUCTS are calling themselves (Have the Title of ) a " BUD Tender ". I guess you put THAT on your Resume?

I don't usually watch your number of views or anyone else's, for that matter, but these storage clean outs seem to bring a lot more viewers. I know I have really enjoyed them, both yours and Taco Stacks. I'd say they're in my top 5 favorite categories. This one does seem to have a lot of the last minute empty out the basement or garage or storage shed, but still a few special items to be found. I wonder if you and TS split the metal money or is there a trade for certain items and he takes the metal? Just curious.

I wear a heated vest & just got some heated socks. The hand warmers don’t help much because it is difficult for me to have them in my gloves & be able to dig through boxes. I haven’t been able to find a pair of winter work gloves that are warm but not bulky. Bulky gloves are a hindrance to me when grabbing items or even moving boxes/furniture, too much material.

We decided not to say this time & try to focus more on our chance to cleanout units of this size & what we find. Often when we say we only paid $10 or $20 for a unit, we’re accused of lying or being “too cheap”. When we pay up for a unit, then we’ve “been taken” by the storage facility. Have to take it all in stride, I guess 😆

Do those storage units have electrical outlets? Might be worth investing in a small heater. Wouldn't have to be too big. I was afraid you might find some "formerly" live bait amongst the fishing gear. That Plano tackle box was very nice - whether or not the lures were valuable - it'd be a nice "grab-and-go" for some angler. Maybe the rifle sight was in there because the fisher-person shot fish when in a hurry. Not as effective or exciting as dynamite, but safer. I had one of those lined jean jackets when I was in high school - loved it. You mentioned scrap metal with one of the boxes but then took out a clamp - I imagine you save those to sell at the flea market. I buy all my clamps 2nd hand because they are expensive. Also, I think most woodworkers and DIYers would tell you that no one has ever had enough clamps. When my girls were small I would take them to the flea market. At first I could entice them because one vendor sold live bunnies and they loved to hold them etc. Live animal sales were stopped, but to my great joy, a new vendor appeared who sold tagged Beanie Babies at a discount. I eventually learned to take the kids to that person last - because their "passion" for the flea market waned after stopping at that booth. These units seem like a bit more of a chore than others you've shown - just the combined size and different types of things, I suppose. Still very fun to watch and I think you will make a good return. Thanks for taking us along. Hope you have a great start to the weeK1

PS: I can't remember where, now, but I once saw a septic / vac truck on the road painted yellow and black and labelled, "The Stool Bus." I imagine you have to maintain a sense of humor in that business.

I’m thinking about doing this here in North Louisiana after I retire for fun and maybe extra little bit of income money. After reviewing all the sales around here, how do you know or trust that the building owners or management have not pulled the good stuff out then replaced everything back?
