New subscriber here and loving it. This process is fascinating to watch. I did notice you ended up using 24 eyelets rather than the 18 you mentioned in part 1. I wondered about that, but I knew it would work out in the end. I agree with the loose threads hanging out. I think it looks cool.

Looking good. I think I might try putting the corset going up so I have the bows at the top. But I can see that going down makes sense also. Part of me feels bad you covered those books. They were really pretty patterns. Much nicer than the ugly reader's digest I have. :)

Yeah but they have sat on my shelf for 2 years hahahah so they weren't getting used! I have made a couple journals using the same pattern of readers digest though

Have you tried adding some tape to the end of the seam binding to make it easier to lace through?
