@TheLegendary754 Certainly it would be as capable of home defense as any other quality full-size 1911, plus it uses high capacity magazines. Personally for a "nightstand" home defense pistol I like to have night sights with tritium inserts, and an accessory rail for a white light/laser aiming device. There are dozens of quality pistols capable of home defense which cost less. As the video notes this pistol is accurate and reliable, a pleasure to shoot on the range..

would you recommend this gun for home defense. I want a long slide as well I want to know your thoughts on this gun. Reliabilty useabilty, capability, and whether the aforementioned is worth the hefty price tag
