OODA, what a wonderful "formula" for living in a broken, ever changing world according to Gods will. "Playing with the nails", Wow! I followed Gods command to move 2,000 to be near my grandchildren. My directions and choices change daily. Some days i am to "be still", some days i am to be like David the defender, and other days i am to be the "shepherd" for these poor "sheep" who have never even been introduced to God's luscious fields. Thanks Fr Mike for putting all this into words and helping me to see why somedays i wait and some days He changes MY plans. God bless you, Fr Mike and Ascension.

Father Mike is like a treasure in the field ❤️! I’m so happy he decided to be ordained to be a priest. I can’t believe he came so close to chosing not to do it. I can’t imagine my life without Father Mike’s Homilies. His homilies along with the hallow app single-handedly contributed to my conversion this year. Now I have more joy in my life and I can finally appreciate all the blessings God gives me each day. I am changed and I never want to go back.

I could never live life thinking its a war and everyone is out to get you. ....never harm anything or anyone, help everyone and everything. God is Love. Love everything and you will understand. God is amazing and we wouldn't be here without God, so lets be the best we can be. NEVER HARM ANYTHING OR ANYONE. If you harm anything or anyone you are mentally handicapped. The pathetic devil is mentally handicapped. Don't be like that coward. Be an angel of the Lord. Love Everything. God bless everyone and everything.

God is so kind. Through this homily, I learned how to communicate with the Lord. For as long as I remember, I always ask what God wants me to do with this life, hoping that He will tell me how I should spend my entire life. Now I realized, each moment, to walk with God, the question is like what Fr Mike said here: God, what do you want me to do now? Thank you Fr Mike.

I took notes on this. "I trust that you want me here and if you want me to leave you will make it so clear that i will not be confused". Living with a covert narcissist is hard but i nerver think of divorce, so this must be where He wants me to me. I will trust. Thank-you.
@alexwelts25535 ай бұрын
When you leave the covert, meet an overt and crawling away barely making out the covert moves into your mom's house and starts gathering examples of exploited vulnerability to take your parental rights. And you find yourself wanting Jesus to be an asteroid or a covert seeking dinosaur.😢.

So perfectly timely! "So good!" (LOL!) Been bingeing Fr. Mike & the A-Team's BIY (on target to finish in 3.5 months)... to-date, over 110 poems (like psalms) have poured out through my pen. "What's my next move, God?" has been a question with the answer: "Call Father Mike when you're done." I guess the board just changed because I'm typing this! BAH! I'm reading WISDOM now! Oh this is just sooooooooo good! "I pray for you, Fr. Mike, please pray for me & God's poem pen." Keep being fantastic in the LORD.

Sounds like working a as a nurse in emergencies and urgencies ....and intuition, anticipating needs.... spiritual and mental bootcamp for life came on the ground in a nursing career - and battling childhood trauma which if you have the gift of understanding, and empathy, that childhood suffering doesn't stay in childhood, but you are a magnet for more abuse everywhere else, including with "church people." Yes yes yes, excellent again Fr Mike. All of it - packaged so well and concise from no peace with out confronting that which obstructs it. Understanding = 'triage' :)

Interesting... I'm a wanna-be Catholic whose faux Catholic fiancee turned into Pious Narcspouse (who eventually cheated on me + did a bit worse over time). Studying scripture was my saving grace through this Hell... i meant 17yr marriage. I would sing a church song, taught to me as a kid to help memorize the OT&NT books in order, more than once when he was abusing me. It's all made me realize what a garbage catholic HE was. The church & its doctrines can't always be blamed for crappy practitioners, is what i walked away with... Peace 🕊️ & Solace.

God knows all things, even the secret things of the hearts of men. We can not hide from God, even if we try to hide from ourselves... God knows all things: ROMANS 2:21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? 22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? 23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? 24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. ROMANS 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. MATTHEW 6:20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

And there are no options for women in society. Who talks about feminism? I don't see any. Women must have their hair done (and DYED, brr), their nails done, their face done in many ways, to wear stylish clothing and narrow shoes. I never dyed my hair and I cut it myself, I cut my nails with scissors, I wear makeup only if I want (not daily), I refuse to do any other face treatment, than a cream (now my child's cream) and a serum and my hairstyle is called "comb and go". I don't even count a number of backslashes from a society for this revolt. This is so stupid. Just imagine, I have to have fake hair to be accepted. No way.
