Mirissa truly has some beautiful beaches . It's paradise for surfers like me. Even though my surfing days are over. I wish I had gone there 15 years ago. Are you planning to go for a safari and watch Sigiriya. As a Sri Lankan I recommend to visit these places and if you have time visit Jaffna also, because our Tamil ethnic people live in Jaffna and you can see their cultural in Jaffna while majority of Sinhalese ethnic people live in south of the island. Anyway both Sinhalese and Tamil people are super hospitable for tourists, as Sri Lankans we love and welcome tourist. hope you are enjoy in Sri Lanka.

One of the things many do not know about the ‘sea of Sri Lanka’ is that it has a high concentration of oxygen and therefore teeming with fish and other sea creatures. The humid air ialso may be coming with that extra oxygen in addition to the positive electrical charges they carry. And that is energy. In Europe no humidity. Germany attempted to generate electricity in 1950s but gave up. So this may a plus point for the tourists.

these areas like Mirissa are new to Sri lankan tourism, i would call these areas as hippi areas where budget travellers go, if you really want to experience sri lanka in a classy way you need to book 5 star hotels where there are many by the sea from beruwala to Galle to Trincomalee. Sri lanka used to be a place for many rich tourists since 90s but now it has changed for you tubers

As someone who like to travel to a mix of attractions, kinda curious why you skipped the ancient ruined cities and historical monuments in the central part like Sigiriya or Polonnaruwa? From what I know, it's pretty dry in that region during this time.

Hey there are two animal santuaries in Colombo run by tax payers money. One is in Colombo 7 its fondly called as Rajekeeya Vidyalaya where young animals are bred. Then there is another animal santuary in Battaramulla where some of these animals are transferred when they grow up which we fondly call as parilimentuwa.

You know that if you've followed her channel long enough. But then when she delves into the details, in most cases it isn't any place a Ukrainian lady from Saskatchewan would choose to LIVE. She needs new places to justify the money she spends, but more than half the time, the places just aren't tolerable to those of us from temperate places. Varna and the Rodope mountains are. Clearn?

Don't worry. I have good news. Sri Lanka has almost wiped out it's fishery.supplying shark fins to the Chinese has wiped out all it's sharks and predatory fish. In a normal fishery you have sharks waiting for the baby turtles to hit the water. Not here..no seagulls either. Biggest problem is dogs but they are only in populated areas. Overall, in Sri Lanka they have a better chance of survival if you can stop the local fishermen from digging the eggs up to sell them for Chinese medicine.
