I'm Filipino, and I'm actually amazed that we've been mentioned in this anime. In regards to the skin color, you're right. Filipinos have light brown skin, and that's why Izana is different from them. Btw, it's so funny because you're raising your voice whenever Kisaki shows up on the screen and then back to a soft voice when he's not🤣

I’ll miss the hakkais 😓 but this was an amazing episode and probably my favorite of the anime.. they adapted that moment between Izana and Kakucho perfectly… Izana’s story hurts me.. I can’t help but feel sorry for him.. as he thought he was alone all his life and from being neglected from the women he thought was his mother up to the end where he selflessly sacrifices himself for Kakucho.. the transition from the flashback to present was perfect as well…. Now we have Kisaki finally cornered.. next episode the season finale will be one to watch!

Damn even though izana is heavily flawed, he deserves better... Man if only he had realised earlier on, that he lost himself to darkness causing him to be victimised by kisaki, then everything could have been different 😭😭 Izana really ebodies what mikey becomes in the future, like the guy is broken mentally and is emotionally struggling due to his past with his "Mom." Tho Mikey's effort and kisaki's truth really woke izana up and knocked some sense in him to protect the last person who was with him all his life which is actually really depressing 😔

I'm crying again only with your reaction 😢 Of course Izana always cared about Kakucho! Even if the way he died is the worst I'm happy that anime onlys finally understand him (and I was happy to see that you see from the begining how much Izana cared) "Our era", "I only have you" and "I'm beyond saving" broke me in thousand pieces (again) Liden films and the va did a really great job in this episode! All the flashbacks were beautiful and painful and they did so much justice to the snow 💜 (Izana sounded like a broken kid talking with his mom, ouch 😢) As always, I love your reactions!

Just to make it clear... Here's the real relationship: Mr. Sano + Mrs. Sano = Shinichiro and Mikey Mr. Sano + Emma's mom = Emma Emma's mom's 1st husband + a random Filipino woman = Izana But Izana thought: Mr. Sano + Emma's mom = Emma and Izana Izana thought his birth parents were Mr. Sano and Emma's mom just like Emma, that he was related to Emma's mom and the Sano family by blood but it turns out that wasn't the case at all. He's not related to any of them. After Emma's mom's 1st husband died, she took Izana into her family.

Izana's death is one of the moments that I consider the most heartbreaking in Tokyo Revengers, it is simply too cruel and the parallels of the innocent wish of two small children ended with death. Kakucho took Izana's hand to make him see that he would never be alone. Izana and Kakucho are in my top 3 characters, they are too great...

Izana just wanted to create a home for all other orphans out there but I just can't understand why he didn't just accept Mikey, Emma, and Shinichiro as his relatives the same way Emma did.
