Agree with Stretch, Rubix has amazing range/dynamics but Paradox has control and crystal clear intention with his movement. Next level maturity.

This has been more informational than all the dance videos for the past 15years ive watched combined. please do more. Buddha Stretch is a gem and the dance community needs his knowledge and information put in a standard curriculum for all hiphop dance battles, showcases, references etc. Most people nowadays cannot explain the techniques and steps their doing. The vocabulary, explanation and historical origin are missing. I hope there is some sort of book or standardized format that buddha stretch can create for future dancers who are looking to start somewhere but have nobody to teach them.

There should be more of these on battles like les twins vs other dancers. I’m tired of some LA popping kid youtuber deciding what is hiphop or not with little knowledge of hiphop.

Buddha Stretch has always said and also said in that full interview that particular hiphop moves are just tools and building blocks of hiphop foundation and that people are blind to say you gotta have this and that step to be hiphop. He emphasized hiphop music and its dance adapting to the music and respecting the hiphop foundation history, not certain hiphop moves.

The problem with Metals Palace is that he just categorized les twins as not hiphop. Yeah they are pioneers of hiphop, so some freestyles may be outside of hiphop perimeter. But that doesn’t make them “not hiphop”. He ignores hiphop knowledge when i told him to listen to what elite force crew says about what is hiphop.
