So pleased to see an analogue (analog to my US cousins) version of Parallel 42's cracking Fox2. This is one of some new features they have introduced including smoke and a competition variant. In this video, since I can't make it to Flightsimexpo 2024, we take a virtual trip to Vegas, without the Elvis karaoke that no doubt you feared, and do some things that you could never do in real life. As they say, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, including the tyre marks I left in the road.

What I nice video :D First mentioning the Billy Idol concert near Hoover Dam. I looked that up and it is absolutely marvelous. Then I indeed thought why you chose an Arctic Fox livery to fly in the desert ... got it now! And of course the //42 Fox has been transformed by the latest update, love it now.

I bought the Freedom Fox bundle on sale last week. Haven't had the chance to fly it yet. I've been getting more into bush planes, and this looks like a good one. It's certainly a bargain.

Interested in seeing a vid on your PC's specs and a look at your overall setup. I just reinstalled the Freedom Fox Complete and used the same skin before coming across your video. I love flying around Vegas in MSFS as I am from Southern California originally and met my English wife there so Vegas is a favorite old stomping ground of ours. Keep up the good work.

MSFS 2020 has been amazing the last couple of years. Lets hope the scenery popping we see gets resolved in 2024. What we see at time approx 26:34 is an immersion killer.

@@pilotngb to be fair I have since discovered that this was a glitch brought on by mesh introduced by Black Square airport signs/markings pack. Having deleted the .bgl for that addon my Vegas now looks complete.

I’ve flown around Vegas many times in the sim and never seen that weirdness at the end of the strip. It doesn’t look great, especially at night, but it doesn’t look like that.

Been to the dam. It’s extra windy over the bridge, and if it was rendered fully realistic you’d see dozens of dusty old baseball caps and other hats on the rocks below the bridge from careless heads looking over the side. Apopolis in Greek is probably a noun, but από πόλης (apo polis) means ‘from a city’, and αποβολής (apovolis) means abortion, but you didn’t quite say that.

The flytampa addon makes Las Vegas 1000% better, and comes with a detailed airport (albeit a bit heavy on frames!) but I’ve currently got it uninstalled due to the upcoming city update for Las Vegas coming this week in case it clashes

@@Dreamsofwings I suspect the flytampa one will still be better as it has dancing water in the Bellagio, moving display boards, the pyramid has all the animated lights and the laser pointing up into the sky at night, just looks like vegas should look :) I doubt the Asobo one will have those features but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a surprise!

How did you enable these contrails in the sky? I don't see myself anything like that in the sim. Are you using an addin of some sort for that?

Hi, you select the analog version when you are starting up your flight. There isn’t an option to do it once you are loaded into an airport.

For the life of me, I can't find how you change between the glass and the anolog?! Is it a separate plane? Or do you have to press something 🤷🏼‍♂️

You just need to select the right aircraft variant when you choose the aircraft at the start of the flight.

Las Vegas airport and city pack is much better than the latest City update it's not your PC or connection mine look the same suck it back out and put my payware one back in works wonderful and it's also been updated

the constant and very quick movements of the camera make it not so easy to watch ..lateral movements of the camera should be slower due to the number of frames per second

The problem is that is my head moving around as I look using the head tracking so a bit hard not to!
