Even though no one in the band was really happy in this era, this era has to be one the best Paramore has had musically. brand new eyes is one of their best albums (if not it is their best)

Have always thought their drummer was totally underrated, take for example the drumming in the section Hayley sings "mo-o-o-o-ore", that's such a hard beat to play accurately, and trust me if your drummer goes and messes up that one bit even slightly, the entire song stinks (at least in a live performance kind of a way, like the entire audience just goes "nah" and that's it, you've lost them)

I think their image was to be angsty though. They were just appealing to angst filled teenagers
@invisibleradish11 жыл бұрын
How do they appear unhappy? The only reason their new music is "radiating happiness" compared to this music is because it's uppity pop music, it sounds like a completely different genre, hence people who like this music better preferring "this" Paramore.
@TrueUnderDawgGaming11 жыл бұрын
Well, they sing nearly all of their songs at concerts. So, there isn't a "new" or "old" par amore. Just old and new songs. They sing them all at concerts.
@Reivivus11 жыл бұрын
I disagree. They are just more pensive and Josh Farro is really focusing on his guitar solos. That's why he's the best. He puts his heart and soul into it and drifts into the music, so you think he's unhappy. I know because I'm a musician.
@ianburt437210 жыл бұрын
invisibleradish While their genre shift isn't irrelevant sonic has a point. Firstly, James McGee hits a nail on the head. They did target an angst filled audience for a while. In addition to that detail, another theme of their music in Riot and All We Know is Falling (i havent heard much of their other stuff yet) was of christians striving to experience more of God and trying to overcome ones own fears and failings. My Heart is my favorite one of these where they express a longing for God to show them how they should worship and possibly to show them how they should procede with his plan for them in life. I wont make the claim that they should be treated like a contemp christian band, becuz they express much more than their faith, but their faith is in their music and has been.

I miss THIS Paramore a lot but I continue to follow this wonderful band, I hope that one day they will make music like that era again

Fuck how most people say "I miss the old Paramore" There is no old or new Paramore. They're still the same. They just grew up. Change is the only constant thing in this world. But one thing's not gonna change, my love for Paramore and for Hayley.

***** if you are a true fan you should be able to support them in whatever they do next,because they are the people you've come to love and listen to.If you stop supporting them now when they are experiencing change and insecurity about if were gonna like the new songs or not,then you are not a true fan

nedzla100 It's a bit inhuman to say you like music because you must be a true fan. First and foremost music is for the soul, not for loyalty to other humans. But to each their own I guess. I'll stick with actually liking a song because I truly enjoy it.
@LordofTheFallen10 жыл бұрын
nedzla100 By definition, a fan is someone who likes their music. If they change that music to something I don't like anymore, then I'm not going to be a fan of this new stuff. If they reach fame and riches with their new pop image, all the power to them, but I'm not going to proclaim myself a fan of something I don't like simply because I was a fan of their old stuff.

***** no, you shut the fuck up. you don't tell me when to be quiet or if i should be quiet. you don't have the fucking right to tell me what to do or what to say. if you miss the "old" paramore that you're saying, i don't fucking care. so be it. but for me there's no old or new paramore. they're still paramore. and i'd really appreciate if you will mind your own fucking business. goddamnit.

Every time I study or write I listen to this song. It just makes you wanna do things and finish them. I love it

I share that sentiment of yours with this particular song as well; the song per se is verily energic, encouraging or basically just enthralling to listen to. By far, I think this is the best song that pertains to their album titled as "Brand New Eyes".

Not that I don't like her other looks (her crushcrushcrush look was GREAT) but her 0:53 blonde, tied-back-with-some-hanging-down hairstyle is just awesome. Like, dayyyyum.

The music from brand new eyes may not have been their most iconic, but to me it was always their more honest work. There are a lot of albums about growing up, but the wisdom of this one has always stuck with me in the most visceral ways

Olha, nunca poderia pensar que ouvir essas bandas da minha epoca de adolescente como o Paramore seriam uma solução pratica pro meu stress enquanto jogo online. Jogo até mais relaxado quando escuto musicas como Careful.

This whole album is amazing. It’s just sad that making it was probably the hardest thing they’ve done which resulted it losing 2 of its members

I remember when this came out. My crush recommend me this and i definitely love it. I was on 6th grade, it was 2010 and i had 12yro back then. I also remember hearing this in big stores like Khol's, Sears and K-Mart... That was an Era. Anyone else?

For some reason I absolutely love how hayley Williams is doing punk rock head shake at 3:33 and the camera angle with the lights, along with the epic guitar 🎸 synergies with Hayley's epic head shake i absolutely love it! 😍
