Dude's a noob. He can't make a good review. It could take years to get the information you're looking for. Sorry for being an asshole, it's just that there's only 10 like this and they give it to this guy. It's like handing over the motor to me for a review. "I haven't flown a single flight and I have this motor I'm going to review." The school I was going to go to fly quads with 4 strokes. You probably know all the advantages and disadvantages already. The head instructor at the school thinks the moster 185 is more powerful and snappy than the 4 strokes. If this thing can match the snappiness of the two stroke then it will be a game changer. If it can't, then it's back to quad service for this engine. And this guy hasn't flown enough different engines go give a credible review.

FFS Tim... watch the review videos that follow this one.. I get a Moster pilot to do a 1 hr flight and give you his review. We weigh it etc and compare it as fully as we can to a Bailey and a Moster. You're right, I'm not the guy to do a review, so I got the required pilots in to make a video. Best wishes chap! 😊👍

PARANOOB Thanks. I will. My dealer is now pushing the Minari. He asked if I wanted the Moster or Minari. I will get to try both this September during training. He says everybody has been choosing the Minari after flying both. I guess I’ll then start a channel Paranoob II. ✌️

@GolfFoxtrot224 жыл бұрын
Paul, one question that you might need Wasp to ask is, what is the sustained full power time. I know some engines have a limited time they can be run for. Will Wasp be holding the spares or with they be direct from EOS.

I want to know how difficult it is to pull start? Performance 4 strokes usually have high compression. Some 4 strokes have a slight release valve to hold while starting, so does it have anything like that to assist during the start. I love 4 stroke engine over 2 stroke. I hope this engine proves to be one of the best. Thanks.
@markallisonparamotor4 жыл бұрын
Will it be available in UK? What is the after-sales service like? How easy is it for an average bloke to service themselves bearing in mind 2 strokes are pretty easy, even I can do it. Direct comparisons of thrust, weight and drag. Will this engine be available with other brands? e.g. Parajet, Bulldog? What's the hang point? low/mid/high?
@Adrenalinspunk4 жыл бұрын
4 strokes can be a night mare if you have little or no experience due to the timing of cams if u get that wrong u bend valves and the fun begins
@PARANOOB4 жыл бұрын
Easier than a 2-stroke Mark, certainly in the case of my Bailey. Check valve gaps every 10 hours, basic service now and again. I do oil, filter, plug and boot.
@Adrenalinspunk4 жыл бұрын
And the other thing is depending on what valves they use is how much it could cost as if they go wrong and they use titanium valves you cant relap them as it takes the coating off and they are no good where as steel valves if its got them you can lap there as many times as u like as long as the seat is good.

Engine weight is interesting, but I'm more interested in the all up weight difference between this engine setup compared to something people have in the field. The Wasp web site shows mostly EOS 150s so the all up ready to fly minus fuel weight difference between the two frames with a 150 vs a Quattro would be the most beneficial to me. I'm also looking at the new Polini 202 but I can't make an honest guess of the expected weight difference when they list the weight without coolant. If you could put otherwise identical motor rigs on scales next to each other that would be great. Thrust on a bench and fuel burn would be good, again vs something like the 150. The rest is negotiable.
