Parcel Opening, Lunchtime and Pool

Thank you very much to everyone who has sent us parcels and gifts. We’re sorry we haven’t opened any recently. But we are starting back up again at lunchtime by opening a few each session.
Sorry also for the confusion in regards to the collars and who has sent them. I think perhaps there has been a few people that have sent collars and because there are no sender details we have got mixed up. So I’m sorry for that but please know that we are very thankful for the gift of new collars for all the pack members.
We’d also like to mention a lovely lady named Phyllis who was an avid follower and supporter of the farm. Phyllis lost her very long battle fighting cancer. The videos brought her lots of joy and she asked that her friends and family make contributions to the farm instead of flowers at her funeral. This is such a beautiful gesture for us to hear of. We don’t know what to say other than thank you Phyllis and to Phyllis’ family and friends. We’re also very sorry for your loss.

I've taught my dog some hand gestures. She hears just fine but sometimes responds to the gestures better than a verbal command. My last dog could hear also but knew gestures for all commands. I taught them in case a scenario ever happened that I didn't want a command to be heard by someone.

It did take a long time for Sam and Luke to catch on, didn't it? 😊I can remember the little snippet of Luke and Sam saying she was useful as an Instigator for the rescue dogs...in the 'deal with this!' department. Because they will meet exuberant dogs on the streets and in the parks, good to teach them how to handle it. So, the last of the puppies on their way, Maggie's officially got her paws under the table..."All shall be well, all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well."

Condolences to Phyllis’s family and friends. She must have been a wonderful and lovely lady. It was so generous of her to request donations to the Farm in lieu of flowers. RIP sweet lady. Congratulations to Maggie on becoming an Evans doggie. I agree with others that she knew the Farm was her home from the start. Thank you to all who sent gifts. They were amazing. Shadow will love her hoodie. And she looks beautiful with her new collar. Luna absolutely loves the Farm. I hope she finds a forever family with lots of energy and a big yard and pool. I just wanted to add, as forgot in last post to say how happy I am that Maggie is part of the Evans Family. She really is a special girl. She's very athletic, a darling to all....especially puppies, loves life to the max and she understands sign language. She couldn't be luckier than to be adopted by you guys. Made my day. 💕💕

I also want to thank Luke, Sam and the pack for welcoming Maggie into the house pack. It is really the best outcome for her as she has the safety of the Farm and a loving forever home. She is such an awesome girl. Mairi
