Parcels cover Dolly Parton / Whitney Houston 'I Will Always Love You' for Like A Version

The Berlin-based band from Byron Bay cover 'I Will Always Love You' which was originally written and recorded in 1973 by Dolly Parton and then rearranged by Whitey Houston in 1992 for The Bodyguard soundtrack. Like A Version is a segment on Australian radio station triple j. Every week a musician or band comes into the studio to play one of their own songs and cover a song they love.

Man. I just don't even know what to say right now. I enjoy a great take on a song but I hate when a band mutilates a great song under the guise of making it a "cover." I don't know this band - just came across Like a Version thanks to Reddit and wanted to see more artists. This is something else. They didn't destroy the song and did it pretty well in their own sound and voice! Nice harmonies really set the tone on top of the low-key instrument tones. Heck yeah. Awesome stuff.
