The venue just made excuses and lied about the incident, which clearly shows the person inside the costume could see the children clearly and CHOSE to ignore them. Very blatant behaviour. Regardless of the possibility of racist bias, let's just look at the fact of the blatant rejection to these two little kids. See we all saw what we saw and feel how we feel, BUT because children are, thankfully oblivious to racism, most of them are at least, what they felt was blatant irresponsible and cruel rejection against two little kids. If you factor in the color of their skin, is even worse, of course, but given it's not as easy to prove I rather focus on the impact of that rejection on them. Man, they must've felt so sad and still feel. I'd still be traumatized if I don't know Topogigio rejected me as a little kid, traveling just to see him. This is so sad, I feel for them.
@CinemalecularFilms2 жыл бұрын
Exactly...I imagine that the legal part really wasn't the initial reaction from the parents. I think they posted the video FIRST about showing their kids being ignored, highlighting the sadness of exclusion of their babies. THEN the video took off, and suddenly, other parents were posting similar videos...now it's a potential pattern...and one that should be addressed...which is where we are now. Anyone saying this is about money (for the parents of the affected children) either doesn't have kids or doesn't really care for their kids. Any normal parent would go to some extreme measures to make sure their kids thrive in the world...literally changing the world if they need to.

Why must people make a big deal about not getting a high five from a Sesame Street character. I’ve seen those mascots skip tons of people of all colors, You can’t expect them to high five every single child at the amusement park! When I was young I was often left hanging when trying to get a high five, and so were a lot of kids. Why is it that the moment a “Black” person is skipped “On video” it’s a big deal. These people seriously need to stop playing the victim and they need to stop looking for attention. This is seriously one of the most dumbest things to sue Sesame Street workshop over.

We're all humans and things aren't perfect in your perfect world. I hope when the character takes off the mask they are a black boy or girl... Would you still feel the same if it is?
