This song pulled me in the first time I listened to it. A month later and I'm still coming back to it. It could so easily be overlooked but I think it demonstrates Paris Paloma's musicality excellently. And shows off some of the more nuanced beauty in her voice. The song itself really does feel like a slow-burning fire. Its so clever and yet quite easy to listen to.

From the surface, it’s about a man someone is pining for, but he won’t let them into his life for a reason they don’t know. Despite this, they still try to imagine what’s it would be like. All that they seem to see is that he is burning something and cutting down part of his forest. Probably symbolizing self destructive behavior. In short: “I can fix him”
