I'm with you, absolutely! At home now, I'd put on some music (Temple Journey Part 2, or Shine On You Crazy Diamond) and watch the garden Tuileries again...simple joy, but incredibly satisfying. To walk through the park there to blow off gobs of carbs (oh la la all the eats at the hotel) also was a blast.

Lovely to have you along with me on this trip too :) I had my test at "Pharmacie des Capucines" (also called Pharmacie Vendome by the concierge) which was one block from the hotel, went for a walk, came back for the result within 20 minutes...so easy. Not being a snob but I noticed that some of the Guests were dressed let us say "very very Casual" in the Ritz in London you cannot get in dressed so casual or maybe they make very many "Allowances" for Ladies? the dress code can be confusing at these Ritz hotels and as a man, I was politely reminded just because I didn't have a tie, but I had a very good morning suit on and now I see ladies with sneakers!@16:33 LOL. Of Course, Alexis is always dressed as a lady should be, elegantly.

A 3/4/5 inc. pumps/stilettos/wedges are not something to sneeze at you know - they require a considerable amount of sense of balance vs. comfy shoes. My girlfriend and I were in Place Vendôme on April 9 and went to see if we could have lunch at The Ritz, but unfortunately the restaurant was full. So we contented ourselves with walking the length of the gallery and on to the end of the shops and back - always fun in itself. What a beautiful suite you enjoyed this time. You know, you could suggest to the management they make an arrangement à la Coco Chanel and you simply take up residence there! You can dine in the courtyard which has a retractable awning to protect against sun and weather, or a cozy, plush interior with tables almost in their own little coves. Great place for a video! Glad you like the video! I had my test at a neighborhood pharmacy exactly one block from the hotel on Rue des Capucines - Concierge recommended it and called it "Pharmacy Vendome". Confirm with Concierge, or look it up yourself (Google lists the same pharmacy as "Pharmacy des Capucines"). 20 min. was all it took and I paid 25 Euros. I'm vaxed and boosted as well - no more masked while there but still rolled the car window down, didn't linger around big crowds, and asked for table away from others. Have a good trip! :)

I really don't know since it was a complimentary upgrade, but probably somewhere in the range of hi 3,000 Euros-mid 4,000Euros per night back then - but that's surely not the same. Very nice area to stay at place Vendome Alexis. Where you able to visit a jewelry boutique? The easter egg tree looks really fresh and welcoming at Ritz. Hi @Alexistravels, you have done a beautiful video of a beautiful hotel. I loved your suite. It looks very quiet and serene up there. You even had your own fireplace. The hotel really looks so elegant, even though its such a through back to a previous era. Paris has some beautiful Palace hotels, but it is hard to beat what you have just showed us. I've been to the Ritz in Paris for a drink a number of years ago prior to the refit. I hope the service was as good as the surroundings. You look very at home there, ready to move in just like Coco Chanel :)
