I don't really like screamo or whatever it's called but at the same time I don't hate it. This is a great example of when it's good. For the most part I think it's unnecessary with lyrics like "her shining eyes mark our return". It doesn't seem fitting at all, but with parts like "DYING FORM THE INSIDE" it is absuolutely perfect. It really expresses distress and anger that fits the hard, but feelsy guitar perfectly.

It's a combination of the words "scream" and "emo" This is a metalcore band And the song is mainly about breaking up or someone you love betraying you, which is mostly the reason lyrics like that were included

Ik this is an older video and it was great, don't get me wrong. Just for me personally, it's harder to read lyrics when they r like the way they were in the video, shakey, weird colors, and cool art style. Me personally, I just prefer to see the lyrics by themselves. No shakiness, regular colors, and no art style is needed. Good vid tho

Use these lyrics with a pop singer and they lose their meaning, they're just another bunch of road kill (carrion lol :) lyrics in an overly populatef genre. Same thing with A Deathless Song, wouldn't work as a pop song. Incidentally look it up its from their album Ire, really intense song. :)
