When she's given up, her best friends comfort her and give her the courage to step up and do what she's ment to do. It would only have fit so perfectly. I love this episode so much. I was genuinely surprised when they brought this up as being a disability and not just a growing up thing (like how sweetie Belle can’t do magic well now, but can by the end of series). It’s a really good lesson, I think, that she isn’t ever able to fly. Also, the whole professionalism gag was way funnier than it had any right to be

Only if you want to insist it's an actual handicap and not that she's just a late bloomer. We never thought the CMC were actually gonna get their cutie marks, but it finally happened. I don't see why Scootaloo can't eventually fly. Given that it's all done in hypotheticals (What if my wings never grow?) I think it's safe to assume she hasn't had a doctor tell her she has some kind of wing condition that ensures it will never happen.

@@hedonismbot1508 Giving Scootaloo a way to fly could work, but it'd have to be done with extra care, especially in how you word it, as to not make disabled / neurodivergent audiences feel as if they need to be "cured" or "fixed". As a mentally disabled person myself, this is my opinion. There's nothing wrong with helping make life better / easier for a disabled or neurodivergent person, just make sure you don't portray it as "curing" and "fixing", that kind of stuff.

The sins you probably forgot to mention: Scootaloo can't fly was something even I didn't notice or assume until I saw this episode. (Hurricane Fluttershy didn't help because even thought she was absent a filly that could fly showed up.) Aren't those filly wings the same size as every other filly's? If only Scoots had the physics screwing of Bulk. They could have given the argument that Sweetie wasn't using magic in the performance. It's a shame they never meet another pegasus or other flying creature that can't fly. To give you the canonical answer: No, you never will.😢

In a way it's better they didn't! She's supposed to be their portrayal of a disabled character...just "fixing" her disability would have very bad implications and actually be kind of ableist and disheartening to those with disabilities who can't be "cured" or "fixed" like scoots..it'd portray disabilities as temporary and something you can just "fix".

So I guess Cadence likes putting slurs on everything in the region whose inhabitants said slur applies to. Who knew the princess of love could be so real rude and totally removed. Personally, I prefer calling Crystal Ponies "Latts" As for Sin 11, that house reminds me of the Katskhi Pillar in Sakartvelo. Maybe that means hidden beneath some random pony's house is a crypt many centuries older than Ponyville itself. That'd just be silly though, the only way that could happen is if Stephen King became a writer for MLP.
