From the start of Covid still one side of the nose …. ! In Brazil they have used infrared treatment of the nose and in Japan removing the inflammation in the back of the nose ( quite painfully but effective ) . If you have info on the less painful solutions ..would be great.

Hey, my sister was unwell 2 weeks back-typical COVID symptoms. Now everything is well health-wise but she smells rotten everything.. usually the warm food items... some items like bread or cold things don't smell but warm things smell like rotten fish. Even she usually has these smells, even from her own hands. What to do?

Yes, that’s the number one thing we treat. It’s called parosmia and dysgeusia. SGB helps with this, vagus nerve stimulation m, and nicotine patch.

It’s been about 18 months for me. I would say, I am around 85% healed. But still having trouble with chicken and beef. I also seem to be having lots of brain fogs. Is there a correlation? Would SBG also help with that as well ?
@SPMLongCovid
@SPMLongCovid Жыл бұрын
It can, it’s SGB (stellate ganglion block) and it’s not specific to what smells are still causing a problem, it just treats the cause.

M Ramirez, have you had a mental breakdown that was followed by parosmia? Asking cos i had drowned in self-pity one day and felt like something burst in my brain like a flow of something into my brain, i'm suspicious this is how it started for me, could be a coincidence as well, around 18 months as well.

I started neural therapy sessions to be treated. During 6 sessions, nerves in different parts of my body were tried to be stimulated by injection, but as a result, I made little progress. I only improved around 20%. In October 2023, it will be exactly 2 years. And my question, why do you think neural therapy didn't work to me?
@SPMLongCovid
@SPMLongCovid Жыл бұрын
Well for one thing, you can’t stimulate a nerve thru an injection. You would need electrical stimulation or a strong electromagnetic pulse. 2nd, what were you trying to stimulate and why? You can do vagus nerve stimulation at the ear even at home. If you you would like, please schedule a consult at covidinstitute.org
