Hi I have a mass in front of my throat, they did a biopsy but dont know the type of cancer or where it comes from. Getting surgery on the 22 nd May, is it a good idea, what if the cancer has soread to my lymph nodes ect, please help. 😬

I’m not a doctor but if the biopsy result says cancer, surgery is the next step (if no imaging scans are needed by your surgeon), and they can do a final pathology after surgery. They might remove additional lymph nodes for pathology as well. Good luck
