Hi, Please consider measurig your blood iron levels (ferritin) even if you are not anemic. Also, one food-as-medicine approach that I have heard for improving / restoring blood chemistry after major procedures is to consume ripe apricots regularly; However, I have not researched this and accordingly, please do your homework and check with your doctors first. Radiation-induced lymphopenia is normal after radiation treatment for quite a long time. If you have concerns about your CBC results, you should be discussing it with your radiation oncologist, not worrying about it. That’s unhealthy. I completed EBR radiation just before Christmas 2023 and my lymphocytes value is 0.61 K/uL as of May 20, 2024. The value may stay depressed for years.

If mine stays depressed for years then I may stay depressed for years. 🤣🤣 You are right- my radiation oncologist is the expert on this treatment side-effect. I think I will be up to see him in July for my 3-year follow-up. Thanks for the advice!

How’s your proctitis treatment going?

Well, the first week of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy there was no change. The second week it was much worse- I worried that the treatment was having the opposite effect. But this past (third) week it is much improved. Too early to see if it will stay improved. I wonder now if the extra oxygen circulation kick-started the healing in week 2 and the bleeding at that point was a function of the extra healing activity in the area. I will do more updates in the near future.

You probably needed just to stick to your vegan diet and do nothing. Seems those doctors destroyed your health. There are many natural supplements. Wish you health.
