I recently discovered that love addiction was an actual thing and it honestly explains so much, especially with feeling neglected as a kid, everything is starting to make sense. Now that I have a name for it, I can start trying to work on it.

Also try the book: 'Facing Love Addiction' by Pia Mellody. It has helped me a lot. And look closely at the relationship to your parents. It is possible to break the cycle. I have been a Love Addict and have been in many toxic, emotionally abusive relationships, and I thought I'd never find love. I am happily married now and in a wonderful, healthy relationship. I have worked on and through my past and the relationship to my dad, and I have detected my pattern and actively broken that cycle. I wanted to write to you to give you courage! Much LOVE to you!

Thank you. I went celebate for what seemed an eternity and now my OCD seems to be keeping out of practicing my addiction. I think of the gross Barbarack slop. Plus seeing how many women are celebate , helped during my withdrawal of the female warmth cuddle and how I prefer. ThNks again. Is this a woman's channel?
