I have a 334 chambered in .243 Winchester and have been handloading for it. I have discovered the chamber is tight in the neck and also the headspace is close to the point that some brands of brass will not chamber or cause resistance closing the bolt. I was using Fiocchi brass for some handloads and the necks were too thick and I had to quit using them. After seating some brands of bullets in the Fiocchi brass the od of the neck was several thousands more than the neck portion of the chamber. Speer Hot Cor was one of the bullets I was using. I also tried some Nosler Ballistic Tips that wouldn't chamber after seating in the Fiocchi brass. New Hornady brass when chambered had hard bolt closure and new Hornady factory ammunition was hard to chamber as well and the shoulder headspace was causing the problem. I just had to resize the Hornady before loading luckily Winchester and Remington were a little looser and will chamber. I would suspect the necks are too thick causing the chambering problem.

I wonder if those reloads had been fired in a different rifle and only neck-sized? Out of curiosity I fed the load data into QuickLOAD. Predicted results were 2580fps from a 22" barrel, at 39K psi pressure. A fairly soft load, and the predicted velocity matched pretty close to your chrono results. Enjoyed the vid, thanks for sharing!

@@theidahorifleman I've got four 308s myself, it happens. Have to segregate the brass, or bump shoulder to fit the shortest headspace.

I almost bought a 308 like that but can get 2490 out of my 30-30 , besides not being able to shoot spire point bullets I can't see any benefit
