But if you calculate the problems between them and then you can realise both are same because It is hell to go alone for more than minimum 400 - 600 km on roads of state Nevada without any basic facilities, and also the state Alaska roads this is example only but there are huge as you know. I agree to some extent. But, I have seen trucks caught in gale winds shaking while on my way for LA to San Francisco. Some places are like Nevada, Arizona have no facilities. It is dead dry. Horrible places to drive. If one is driving in Alaska, god only should save him.

Sir, I respect you comment. Being an Indian, I have driven my CAR in such ghats. The problem is, bad roads. These type of roads need to be widened or should have alternative roads for uphill and downhill. Otherwise, this problems cannot be solved. We need to identify the spots which are very tough to negotiate. Today, we have technology.

@@BegurKailash But it's difficult maintain roads in ghat sections. Road widening will cause land slide also. In few places hairpin bends are more and space is very narrow. Western ghat recieves more rain fall.Near to my hometown in Karnataka more than 5 ghats sections are there.

Look at the back wheel on the right side, it shows the weight is not uniformly loaded. No wonder he struggles on turns. To make things worse it is overloaded.

Indian truckers struggle a lot due to the kind of trucks they are provided, which are antique things that belong to the 70s & 80s. But the owners don't care, all they want is their employees driving overloaded trucks in a short time deadline. Reason why most number of accidents are by trucks.

This is a death machine on the roads. Where is the police and RTO on such treacherous sections. The truck is so over loaded that the reverse gear cant handle the load , the tandem steer tires are sitting flat , the steer is not working - Commercial trucks must be go through a CAT scale.

90% of our trucks are overloaded. Engine spec has a clear indication of the weight that can be hauled. Most of them overshoot it by a fair margin.
