that shallow I would use 2-3os sinker and a #2 hook

I’d do a sliding sinker set-up just in case there’s some sheepshead hanging out down there. Yea you’re fishing sorta shallow.

@@cousinjim1 For sure Jim. The drive from the IE to SD area is like 90 minutes from Riverside. I just like seeing the sunrise on the boat. I gotta leave a 3am to make sure I get there. I don’t know the area but Google Maps shows a big parking lot. I’m thinking Mission Bay is gonna be my go to spot. Dana Point is now my other spot. 22 snd. St. goes to the fished out areas of Cat so I made the change 2 years ago. Unless I get in a 2 day charter out of Long Beach I’m staying away lol
