These video's goes back to 2013, do you have any major or minor updates. I realized that it may be easier to remove the electronics if the hoses are removed to make it easier to get to the 4 screws. I noticed that you did not use any sprays to loosening any bolts and screws, any reason? Great videos. Thank you.

The top screw on the clamp is not bad but the bottom one is a bear even with the wobble and flex extension. The 7mm socket must be right on, square to the screw otherwise it turns but not unscrew. Patience.

Wow! With your very busy day going you still manage to respond right away. Very impressive. I figured that's what you are going to tell me. We already checked the fuel pressure and it's normal. We found out that there's an oil coming out of the engine harness which is connected to the coilpack. It's inside the harness itself dripping in the male female connection that connects to the coilpack. Could that be the culprit?. Or, could it be I washed the engine bay?. There's no way for me to take the car to you as I'm residing in california. I know a lot of mechanics that are supposedly really good. And the last I know who worked in my car and a really good friend of mine is a master mechanic only for mercedes benz and nothing else. Still couldn't figure it out. Also to add. We found the 50 Amps fuse on the front passenger side footwell is blown. So I really don't know what the 1st mechanic did to my car. Only thing we could think of is. Maybe he had his assistant mechanic work on it and connect the the battery terminal backwards?. Again. Thank you. You are a very good person and you try to help everybody. Question,Problem My 500 Sl 1993 starts perfect ... but if I do 2 kilometers and then stop the idle oscillates ... but if I start cold and I do 10 kilometers it goes well ... what can be flowmeter or rubber, or cable? Thanks from Spain

Hello Victor, is it worth to buy such a car? I found an offer in my country, an 1994 SL 500 with the same symptoms like the one in your video. I haven't seen the car live, and I don't know if ABS and ASR indicators show up during ignition switch on. I am going to see it next weekend. how much do you suggest me to pay for it? the seller wants about 6500 dollars for it, with throttle problems, the front bumper is a little bit cracked and the drivers seat has it's leather unstitched on the middle. The guy said he think it is a vacuum problem, and that when he pressed the throttle pedal more than 40-50% the car is almost dying(that's why I think it has the same symptoms like the one in your video). Hey, my throttle body for 1995 w140 s420 L is completely covered in dry oil substances on the top of the throttle body from the crankcase vent hose. So if I take out the throttle body I suppose some of the substance would go into the cumbustion chamber. Any idea to remove the oil debris before I take out the throttle body? I can't even see my TB Bolts because the oil debris is all over the place. Could you also tell me how to stop oil flowing from crankcase into the throttle body? I'm planning to replace the PCV hose. Should i do anything else to stop the flow of oil? or What could have caused the oil to flow from crankcase into the TB through the pcv hose? My pcv hose is fully gooey with oil. I also have my left cylinder (driver side) head cover leaking which i suppose is the side effect of the gooey pcv hose. Waiting for your reply. Thank you.

Brake cleaner and brush, and paper towels. Might use pressure washer but risky. I use pressure washer on some of my customers cars but I can fix problems that arise with pressure washing engines. Oil blowby needs diagnosing.

Your videos are helping me to fix this valve cover gasket leak issue which I suppose is due to a bad pcv functioning to send blowby gases to the TB. Thank you once again.

@@kelvinantony5699 im always busy, cant type much. Pass side valve cover oil separator could be all blcoed with carbon. It doesnt come apart so pressure washing it is an option, maybe submerge whole thing into solvent

ONLY outside. NEVER use brake cleaner on inside. Brake cleaner is very aggressive. It will destroy PCB boards. Also, brake cleaner will erase part number on sticker. You might want to cover sticker with PCV tape
