I swapped the lower roller on my MFC8950DW and it still comes out smeared and blurry. I notice the upper roller not in the best shape during the operation. The off brand lower roller weights 567 grams, vs 227 grams (1/2 lbs) of the brand name one. Is the off brand lower roller the culprit, or do I need to change the upper roller?

I have a brother Mfc8370dn, family series 5350dn, I listened to what you said that initially they made the upper smooth roller? did I get it right? I saw for sale that there are reds and blacks. When I opened the back of the printer the two rollers are brown (lower?) And black (upper roller). which one is better red or black? However, I opened it to clean the rollers, because I checked everywhere because I had the problem that I was printing in duplex but taking two sheets. the inside of the two sheets was white. I have changed the drawer pad, I will change the rollers since I have them together but I have not ruined them. Instead, I noticed that cleaning the rollers of the exit drawer perhaps solved the problem.

The MFC8370dn is a completely different (earlier model) printer engine. Nothing in this video applies to your printer. Your printer model is the really reliable model engine that gives very few problems. The picking up 2 pages and jamming problem (your model gets) will be covered in a new video soon it costs nothing to fix and requires no parts. Bought mine used: 43K pages and blurry. Just for your statistics.

Yes 40K is the average I see them at with the problem despite brother rating the part at 100K pages.

my printer "my lady" mfc 8370dn : I think it has 240K and never a problem .. (I reset the fuser counter once without changing the fuser, now it marks 140K, so I think it is 240K. My pages are not very full of printing black, I always print excel and word files. I always turn it off when I'm not using it. Always clean. When I see that a toner can give me problems I change the toner.

Thank you very mich for your video. I replaced my fuser for the MFC-8950DW. When trying to print I get error "printing not possible DE" "put machine off and on again" and paper stays stuck. Any idea? how to fix it?

@@matigrossman8007 error DE Central temperature sensor of heat roller detected the temperature that was lower than 60 °C. Check the unit is actually heating up. Check the soldering on the little circuit board the sensor cables plug into on the right are ok/not broken from roughly plugging and unplugging the sockets. Remove the power socket on the left and plug a meter in and see if 240/120 volts is applied to the heater at the startup phase after switch on.
