In this case may your PC board is broken. If the door lock change didn’t solve the problem I suggest that is the issue. If you don’t have a spare one it won’t be economical the repair. This is my opinion.

What would be the causing this error E41 or E40 if the door lock has been changed? My washing machine tripped the main fuse and now keeps showing E40 error. Bought a brand new door lock, still the same. What would be next steps of fixing?

Hi, has been moved your machine recently? If yes, maybe wiring has damaged.

@@georgesworkshop8600 Not been moved. It's an integrated unit. Did you mean the wiring between the door lock and the control board?
