Voice over is very professional, you don’t have to hear your grunting or outside interference noises plus you get to explain the process with more forethought, thanks I am learning for my eventual build great job the cleanest, stealthiest conversion I’ve seen to date!

I just bought a Ford E450 20 ft van with a fiberglass body. It is a great van but needs a door between the cab and body. Your video is extremely helpful. Thank you!

Sweet vida! I’m starting the same truck soon.. tried to be a supporter but the site put me on a endless loop of checking if I’m human:). I am, computers don’t need a box truck apartment!😂. Seriously, I’d like to see more though..

@TechnoBarbarian, personally, I would have painted the cab side of the door dark gray to match the gray felt you installed on the rear cab wall so it is more hidden from view, and it wouldn't be seen when you pull back the felt that covers the door. Just my .02¢. For the record, voice-over narration is much better in these types of videos. Much easier to follow the progress doing voice-over.

Speaking of doors, you should take a scrap piece of plywood and cut/carve a fake latch for the back door complete with dummy padlock.

What you want to make your design different? I was so waiting on seeing how you would integrate those van life hexagon / octagon tiles. 😆 Right on!💪🤙👍 It's good to see these details take shape. The narration works 💪 👷‍♂️ Nice door. Looks great.. 👍 Anyway to secure the frame to the wall better? Stronger to prevent someone from flat kicking the door with the frame and all?

Should of lined the plywood with vapor barrier to prevent moisture damage

Commentary overdubbed on top of (subdued) ambient sound without annoying music is ideal.

A couple things, 1. You should definitely continue the voiceover style, it gives a polished and professional feel while effectively relaying the information. 2. Excellent job on the door, from the preview at the beginning, I legit thought you bought an actual premade RV door. 3. I know the door tolerances are pretty tight and it's insulated; STILL, to block sound (the excessive sound that will come from the box while driving), you need a complete seal. Have you thought about weather stripping for the passthrough door? Some sort of thin rubber gasket would fully complete the thermal and auditory seal.

I should have mentioned I will be hiding the door from the cab side so you won't even know it's there when I'm done. That will likely also include soundproofing

After looking at the last 20 sec of your video I now see where a thick sound proof curtain will work to hide the rubber gasket. You can always velcro the vest onto that :)

Instead of butt joining and seeing the edges, you cut the edges of at 45 angles on both ends the cut lines will disappear and it will look like one block of stone.

Please learn to pronounce basalt correctly! It is pronounced bay-salt! You make it rhyme with assault. On another note, superb work on all fronts, patience ,forethought and great design! Many thanks for inviting us all along on your epic journey.

Bay-salt? What? It's pronounced just as it's spelled, basalt. IDK where you get the 'y' from, but whomever told you it's bay-salt is a moron!
