Replacing Mavic Pro Front Arm [Part 3 Final]
A successful attempt to repair my own Mavic Pro after an incident that almost wrecked the drone.
This will show the real rescue action, replacing the arm and screw everything back.

very helpful. soothing music too. my front arm isnt even visibly broken but am getting esc error on it and it turns just a tad rough vs others which are butter smooth.

minute 5:33 placing the new arm, then put the spring loaded bolt back to secure the arm. before putting in the spring loaded bolt, i need to set the spring halfway first, before it's placed back in.

Can you please go into greater detail onto how to set the bolt back into the hole so that the arm is secure? I'm trying to fix my Mavic now, and having a terribly hard time. Every time that I replace the bolt, the arm defaults to a 'halfway' position (running parallel to rear arm). How do I align the bolt with it's screws so that the arm springs into the correct positions?

Ok. I figured it out. You need two pair of pliers ,one to hold the top cap where the two screw holes are open. A second pair of pliers holds the silver Square Spring holder. Twist the two parts to halfway and insert with the spring fully loaded. Worked for me.

How did you clamp the arm back into place on the part you said it’s tricky

I did not see you work with the small black washer that goes somewhere in the front arm. Could you tell me where it goes?

You can see that there are 2 of them, and both are coming from the front arm joint , but he put the arm back without any of them. The small, harder one goes on top, there is a spot in the arm for it. The second one, well I wasn't paying attention when I disassembled it and now I'm search all over the internet without finding anything... I couldn't find a video where they say where it goes, I've tried putting inside before pushing the shaft, but this way I couldn't snap the shaft into place. I guess I'll assemble my mavic without it.

+LukeBoney there are 3 cables there for the motor, the white and grey are almost the same, i had to use bright light and magnifier to see clearly.

yes... and they are coax cable connected so you can't just solder them.
