Oh, cool! Those spoons with the rose at the end of the handle are called "Hildesheimer Rose" (Hildesheim is a city in Germany). I'm from Germany, and I actually have the whole set of tea spoons, cake forks, sugar tongs, cake servers and other pieces from this design. Oral Allergy Syndrome or OAS is also called pollen-food allergy syndrome. This syndrome is due to a “food allergy” caused by uncooked fruits, raw vegetables, spices and nuts. Alex- the house I grew up in had a "spirit" of a lady that "lived" in the house, too. When I would come home from high school, my job was to put laundry in the washer machine which was in the basement. I can't count how many times I heard someone walking across the kitchen floor (above the laundry room). There were times I would run upstairs thinking my parents came home early from work. But there was nobody there. I was still "alone". Fast forward to now: The son of the new owners of the house has "seen" the spirit lady. The little boy was in his room and was talking to his Dad when he stopped and pointed and said "Dad, who is that lady?" Of course, the Dad could not see "the lady", but somehow the little boy did. "The lady" was never malevolent, so living there was just slightly creepy but not scary. I feel badly the "lady" is stuck in the house.

My mom's best friend's old house had the spirit of an old woman who lived in the basement. You would hear the sound of a rocking chair nearly every night, but there wasn't a rocking chair up there. If anyone put anything in this one area, it would always be moved by the next day. Sometimes, if someone accidentally left the attic door open, the chimes hanging in the cutout between the kitchen and the living room would start going off. They would ring one chime at a time. It was wild. She was really sweet and enjoyed being talked to. She was never evil, but boy was she loud!

When I got older I used to love to go to junk stores. Now I go thrifting. That’s as bad as good as it gets here. We don’t have junk on curbs like other cities do. Where I live in Washington state and you do not put junk out on the curb. We have a nice clean neighborhood. And about the ghost you have there I can’t remember if I commented before about the ghost we have. We’ve been in our house almost 34 years and the man of the house died in the bedroom in the back. We’ve had numerous and that’s probably putting it lightly visitations shall I say. They mostly happened when we were remodeling. And some even when we were not but mostly when we were. Mr. sparks was quite the handyman so he didn’t like us messing with the house

Good idea to keep that entertainment cabinet. There's no alcohol because they drank it all!! Why aren't you using all those boxes you find to haul stuff out? google it: Allergic reactions to fruit are commonly associated with oral allergy syndrome (OAS).

Those footsteps the other day seem to have really spooked you. Because the potters house and the musicians house basements were way more creepy. This one is more like normal rooms but seem to make you quite wary. (I would be too!)
@MelArchbold3 жыл бұрын
We don’t usually get spooked but this time was weird. Gave me complete body chills. It was like someone was banging on the vents with their hand, not regular old furnace banging even though that’s likely what it was lol

@@MelArchbold In this video shortly after Alex went into the basement room with the bed there was a moving "white dot" and then it showed up again for longer on his face. I had to rewatch to see if thats what I saw. Some might say its something picked up from the light but in watching many videos on your channel and never seeing that before, your reservations about the basement may be true. Take care 🤗 PS. I hope your Pyrex bowls made it safely home to you with yesterday's car ride, lol sounds like they clanked all the way home. 🙂

@L A Thanks so much for sharing this. I’m going to have a closer look when I get a chance. Melissa, if it’s spirit activity, it doesn’t mean harm and would be greatly helped by how respectful and loving you’re being with the personal belongings. Just my opinion.

You are a busy person with all the selling/buying. That is a good thing though. Lots of clean areas in the house so far, shouldn't take long to finish it. The basement will be quick once you get the weaving looms and yarns gone. You take care and be safe.

Basements are notorious for having high EMF (electromagnetic field) readings, which can cause anything from nausea, dizziness, paranoia, feelings of general creepiness to feelings that you are being watched. If your feelings of uneasiness diminish when you leave the basement, it's a possibility this is what you are experiencing.
