I have a f/a off question. Do you run much curve/dead zone on your stick? I jumped from Xbox to pc when the switch became available and swapped the controller for HOSAS with the intention of learning f/a off. But I just can't get it, and I'm either overshooting every move or turning so slow its quicker for me to turn with f/a on. Your videos look smooth and more controlled than I fly f/a on.

Hi I suppose you could say I’m a mouse and keyboard pilot but my setup is fairly unique I think. Instead of a keyboard I use the razor Tartarus pro which is shaped like a mini keyboard but it has full analog buttons(probably easier to google it if your interested) I also use Logitech racing pedals for forward and reverse thrust. With this setup I have analog control on all thruster inputs (left right up down forward reverse) and mouse for yaw and pitch. It took ages to get used to but it does give you loads of control and accuracy once your used to it. I used to love flying stick but when my 3rd one broke I descided to try a something different

Oh and the eye trucker moves the camera to what ever I’m gazing at. You will notice the camera moving to the right occasionally which is when I’m checking where my pips are 👍🏽

@bokatan9642 Thanks for the reply. Eye tracker/head tracker is my next buy, just seems like the next logical step for keeping stituational awareness. Having full analogue control of thrusters is why I decide on hosas over hotas. I think I'm going to just have to keep on trying different set ups until I nail it. Thanks again.

The magic words 3 times LOL Hopefully this works....... Nothing special or ground-breaking. It has a weapon focused / cluster capacitor PD which is not usually the norm though. It helps to handle the 3x small gauss and 2x medium. @@Finickell0 I’ve been experimenting with 6 AX weapons recently so that’s why I have a 5F stabiliser fitted. I’ve come to the conclusion that I like having a beam laser to much to run all 6 AX weapons on the chief. Even though the PD could handle the distributer draw there was no way of dividing the gauss evenly on two fire groups to keep the heat low enough. So there is room for some more tinkering as I will only need the smaller stabiliser. Good luck and let me know how it goes 👍🏽
