You can set the 74 to manual beacon with the PTT switch which would be easier than the small beacon button.

Great video! Just subscribed. How is the receive and transmit audio on the Kenwood D74? Would you recommend purchasing one?

on DSTAR and FM D74 is excellent with EQ setting and Adjustments

Which cable have you used with your antenna? RG142 or RG400?

Both and back and forth. Where ever the signal is the strongest.
